  • Publication number: 20240096565
Abstract: A system includes any number of solid-state circuit breakers that couple between a power supply and an electrical load. The system also includes a housing and the solid-state circuit breakers are disposed within the housing. The housing includes a door sensor that generates a first signal indicative of a position of a door of the housing. The housing also includes an indicator that generates a second signal indicative of a position of a handle of the housing. The system also includes a secondary device communicatively coupled to the solid-state circuit breakers, the door sensor, and the indicator. The secondary device receives the first signal and the second signal and generates an instruction to adjust an operating state of the solid-state circuit breakers based on the first signal and the second signal.

  • Patent number: 6794841
Abstract: A powered movable chair controllable by a user. The chair includes a frame, a powered apparatus mounted to the frame to power the movable chair, and a controller including a control circuit coupled to the powered apparatus. The control circuit includes at least two switches for selectively controlling a change of the status of the powered apparatus between a locked state and an unlocked state. The control circuit is operable to generate an output signal allowing control of the powered apparatus in the unlocked state and preventing control of the powered apparatus in the locked state. The control circuit is further operable to change from the unlocked state to the locked state when a user operates a first switch of the at least two switches, and to change from the locked state to the unlocked state when a user operates a second switches of the at least two switches for a predefined time period.

  • Publication number: 20020075161
Abstract: A universal remote control system and apparatus capable of providing control for a piece of furniture having power lift, power recline, heat and/or massage functions. The universal remote control system also has the ability to remotely control most audio and/or video components, such as televisions, VCRs, CD players, and DVD players. The universal remote control system also includes a universal remote control unit having an input jack for receiving telephone signals, and control functions that allow the remote control unit to be used as a telephone.

  • Patent number: 5730707
Abstract: A vibration producing system for use in vibratory furniture and including first and second vibrator motors for producing vibrations upon being energized, a full wave rectifier having input terminals connected to the power supply and a pair of output terminals for providing full wave rectified current. A first switch has a first mode for connecting the first vibrator motor to the output terminals, a second mode for connecting the vibrator motor to the rectifying means so that the first vibrating means receives alternate half waves of the alternating current having a first polarity and a third mode for open circuiting the first vibrator motor. A second switch has a first mode for connecting the second vibrator motor to the output terminals, a second mode for connecting the second vibrator motor to the rectifying means so that the second vibrator motor receives alternate half waves of the alternating current having a second polarity, and a third mode for open circuiting the second vibrator motor.
