  • Patent number: 4250911
Abstract: The combination of a chemical feeder for liquid circulating systems comprising a casing provided with a vertically adjustable weir, and a disposable container for chemicals for treatment of the liquid which container is receivable within the casing. The container is provided with an opening for extension therethrough of the weir to a preselected height consonant with the desired concentration of the solution to be formed. The liquid is introduced into said container from the feeder for dissolution of the chemical with the resulting solution flowing downwardly through the weir for ultimate discharge to the associated system.

  • Patent number: 4199001
Abstract: A chemical feeder comprising a container having an internal divider for developing an upper compartment for supporting a supply of treatment chemical and a lower compartment for receiving the liquid solvent with orifices in said divider for permitting the liquid to rise upwardly for dissolution of the treatment material. First and second weirs of different heights are provided in said container for controlling the level of liquid in the upper compartment and, hence, the concentration of the solution formed with control means for permitting optional usage of said weirs. A housing retaining a float valve supportingly receives the lower portion of said container and is in communication therewith for accepting the formed solution; there being a discharge outlet in said housing controlled by a needle valve integral with said float valve. Control for the level of liquid in said container is provided.

  • Patent number: 3945335
Abstract: A device for use with a conventional loop-provided boat line to effect docking or mooring of boats comprising a pair of rigid arms for detachable engagement upon opposed portions of the strands of the loop near the base thereof; there being a pivotal connection between each of the rigid arms adjacent their rearward or loop remote ends for swingable movement of the same away from and toward each other, or into open or closed condition, respectively. The rearward ends of these arms are formed to provide cooperating jaws for clamping relationship upon an interposed implement as the arms are moved away from each other for loop opening through a pulling force upon the line.
