  • Publication number: 20230356835
Abstract: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles also known as UAVs or Drones, either autonomous or remotely piloted, are classified as drones by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as weighing under 212 pounds. The system described herein details Autonomous Flight Vehicles (AFV) which weigh over 212 pounds but less than 1,320 pounds which may require either a new classification or a classification such as Sport Light Aircraft, but without the requirement of a pilot due to the safe autonomous flight system such as the Safe Temporal Vector Integration Engine or STeVIE. Safe Autonomous Light Aircraft (SALA) are useful as drone carriers, large scale air package or cargo transport, and even human transport depending on the total lift capability of the platform.

  • Publication number: 20220128363
Abstract: A solution to a system of simultaneous equations where an exact mathematical solution to a multivariate signal path or physical trajectory problem includes time and allows a control regulator to maintain high accuracy simultaneously over multiple variables such as but not limited to distance, velocity, and time. In a flight vehicle, for example, the regulator maintains with high accuracy the position of the vehicle in X, Y, and Z at exactly the time required over the entire trajectory making its position highly predictable at any time.

  • Patent number: 11265835
Abstract: A system and method of effecting time synchronization between disparate nodes on a network where at least one node has knowledge of the true network time, at least one other node requires synchronization to the true network time, and a third node is utilized to facilitate the synchronization process.

  • Patent number: 10835070
Abstract: Operation of Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UAVs) around human population requires the utmost level of safety. Trackpath pre-computed navigation paths and Free flight corridor protection systems reduce the possibility of injuring humans during flight, but at the point of delivery the drone must, by necessity, come down to level of and near humans. This invention teaches the system and method of a personal household mail system that minimizes human exposure to the delivery UAV, provides a method of verifying that the addressee is correct, and optionally secures the mail until it is picked up by the designated recipient.

  • Publication number: 20190020404
Abstract: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles also known as UAVs or Drones, either autonomous or remotely piloted, may be fitted with an Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) transponder for tracking and identification. Remotely piloted drones require a high bandwidth RF transceiver for video and/or control inputs, but the IFF system does not. Fully autonomous vehicles might utilize only the low bandwidth IFF transponder. This invention utilizes the existing cellular network and physical infrastructure to provide UAV command and control functionality over most of the national area.

  • Publication number: 20180373243
Abstract: Entertainment venues such as theme parks, water parks, stadiums and the like would be prime venues for choreographed UAV exhibitions if they could be made safe. An Application Specific Autonomous Vehicle is described which is safe for operation in close proximity to human spectators without the need for an external computerized control system or pilot control.

  • Publication number: 20090145321
Abstract: A method for achieving zero latency timed pyrotechnic events by utilizing distributed processing is presented. A list of timed events may be used to synchronize a pyrotechnic firing sequence with music or other external events. This list is distributed over a series of embedded microprocessors. Each microprocessor is then synchronized to a master controller clock, and enabled such that each processor may then fire independently as required by the master list. This distributed process removes the split-second timing requirement from the main controller enabling the achievement of zero latency and providing significantly more timing events to be processed simultaneously while alleviating problems such as wireless radio interference delays. Each module is capable of forwarding information to other modules, which may be in a position that prevents wireless communication directly with the master controller.
