  • Publication number: 20110309596
Abstract: The proposed invention is a human powered cycle/vehicle which utilizes a reciprocating arcuate linear handlebar motion to operate a double acting asynchronous propulsion mechanism which imparts constantly proportional input versus output motion to its' surface engaging propulsion wheel(s). The propulsion mechanism contains a complex mechanism which causes both backward and forward motions of a set of handlebars to propel the machine forward. A drive-train clutch (52) may be included which enables the propulsion mechanism to be disengaged thus allowing the cycle/vehicle to be reversed and or moved (pushed) in either direction via its' surface engaging wheel(s) in isolation to the propulsion mechanism. A steering mechanism may also be attached to the handlebars (1) which are rotated clockwise to steer the machine to the right and anti-clockwise to steer the machine to the left.

  • Patent number: 7593741
Abstract: A system and method of automatically transferring a call between telephones based on the distance between the two telephones is provided. First the proximity of a first telephone to a second telephone is determined. If the proximity is within a predetermined limit or threshold, calls directed to the first telephone are transferred to the second telephone. Security of the transfer may be ensured to prevent fraudulent use of the subscription of either telephone. Procedures are provided which permit any the above-mentioned steps to be performed either at the level of the individual telephones involved in the transfer, or by an element of the network, such as an SC or HLR.

  • Publication number: 20050030942
Abstract: A teleservice server in a wireless network provides an interface between a mobile station and an Internet protocol network thereby facilitating data transfers between these elements. The server translates datagrams from the IP network into a format suitable for transmission over a wireless network that provides voice communication capabilities. The server also translates data messages received from the mobile station over the wireless network into a format suitable for appropriate transmission in the IP network.

  • Patent number: 6751475
Abstract: Methods and systems monitor a period of time associated with using a wireless device when the wireless device is integrated with a vehicle. The methods and systems can include a wireless network that communicates with the wireless device. The methods and systems can further include a computer server communicating with the wireless network that monitors a period of time associated with the wireless device while the wireless device is integrated with the vehicle. Revenue associated with the time period may be used to determine a revenue split between a wireless service provider and at least one other party.
