  • Publication number: 20230217238
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing updates to user devices, and in particular, SIM-based OTA updates. In some cases, SIMOTA updates need to be made while a user device has a cellular connection (e.g., 4G/LTE, 5G). As such, an instruction is transmitted to the user devices that need a SIM-based update but that currently have a non-cellular connection. The instruction is for the user devices to deregister from the non-cellular connection and to reregister using a cellular connection. An indication is received that at least a portion of those user devices now currently have a cellular connection. The SIM-based updates are then transmitted to those user devices.

  • Publication number: 20230152011
Abstract: A heat pump that includes a thermoelectric device(s) and a heat sink having a raised portion with a top surface for thermally coupling with a planar face of the thermoelectric device(s). The raised portion of the heat sink includes an outer periphery and a raised central region surrounded by a void region to provide more uniform thermal conductivity when clamped within an assembly. The raised central region is shaped in an any shape corresponding to a shape of uneven thermal conductivity due to clamping pressure applied to the heat sink. The void region can be substantially contiguous and entirely circumscribe the central raised region. The device can optionally include discrete supports formed of a less thermally-conductive material within the void region. The supports can be elastomeric, such as O-rings, and disposed within pockets defined within the void region.

  • Publication number: 20230151157
Abstract: A composition and method can be used in the preparation of various siloxanes. The composition and method employ a fluorinated triarylborane Lewis acid, a hydrocarbonoxy-functional organosilicon compound, and a silyl hydride. The fluorinated triarylborane Lewis acid catalyzes reaction of a hydrocarbonoxy moiety (from the organosilicon compound) and a silicon-bonded hydrogen atom (from the silyl hydride) to form a siloxane bond.

Abstract: A polyfunctional organohydrogensiloxane is prepared using a fluorinated triarylborane Lewis acid as catalyst. The polyfunctional organohydrogensiloxane may be formulated into release coating compositions. Alternatively, the polyfunctional organohydrogensiloxane may be further functionalized with a curable group to form a clustered functional organosiloxane. The clustered functional organosiloxane may be formulated into thermal radical cure adhesive compositions.

  • Patent number: 11646756
Abstract: Examples relate to determining a sampling threshold of a receiver (e.g., SERDES receiver). In particular, the examples relate to determining an updated sampling threshold of the receiver based on a reference sampling threshold of the receiver. A controller may determine the reference sampling threshold based on the training sequence and determine an upper voltage level and a lower voltage level of a voltage range based on the reference sampling threshold of the receiver. The controller then narrows the voltage range based on upper voltage accumulated hit rate and a lower voltage accumulated hit rate to determine the updated sampling threshold of the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20230123215
Abstract: A composition includes a silyl hydride (having at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom per molecule) and a fluorinated triarylborane Lewis acid. In the method, the Lewis acid catalyzes reaction of silicon bonded hydrogen atoms from the silyl hydride and water, thereby forming a siloxane bond in the resulting product. • Publication number: 20230121413
Abstract: In examples, a device's native input interface (e.g., a soft keyboard) may be invoked using interaction areas associated with image frames from an application, such as a game. An area of an image frame(s) from a streamed game video may be designated (e.g., by the game and/or a game server) as an interaction area. When an input event associated with the interaction area is detected, an instruction may be issued to the client device to invoke a user interface (e.g., a soft keyboard) of the client device and may cause the client device to present a graphical input interface. Inputs made to the presented graphical input interface may be accessed by the game streaming client and provided to the game instance.

  • Publication number: 20230123958
Abstract: A method of developing a road conditioning monitoring model is disclosed. The method comprises utilizing vehicle sensors to collect data under controlled conditions over a road surface to develop a training data set. The training data set undergoes a data analysis to determine an absolute running mean associated with the first road surface under controlled conditions. Abnormalities in the road surface are detected by comparing the absolute running mean with the training data set. The detected abnormalities are classified to create road surface classification rules. A method of developing a road condition database is also disclosed, that comprises utilizing vehicle sensors during operation of a vehicle to collect data during the operation and feeding the data into the road conditioning monitoring model to classify the road conditions on which the vehicle is driven. A system for determining road condition impact on a vehicle is also disclosed.
