The semiconductor die includes a III-V semiconductor substrate, a first RF signal input terminal, a first RF signal output terminal, and a transistor (e.g., a GaN FET). The transistor has a control terminal electrically coupled to the first RF signal input terminal, and a current-carrying terminal electrically coupled to the first RF signal output terminal. The substrate includes a second RF signal input terminal, a second RF signal output terminal, circuitry coupled between the second RF signal input terminal and the second RF signal output terminal, and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit. The amplifier also includes a connection electrically coupled between the ESD protection circuit and the control terminal of the transistor. The substrate may be another semiconductor die (e.g., with a driver transistor and/or impedance matching circuitry) or an integrated passive device.

    Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes a combing unit including a series of spaced protrusions or teeth extending into a cleaning roller for preventing build up and removing debris (such as hair, string, and the like). The protrusions extend along a substantial portion of the cleaning roller and extend partially into the cleaning roller to intercept the debris as it passes around the roller. The protrusions have angled leading edges that are not aligned with a rotation center of the cleaning roller and are directed into or against a direction of rotation of the cleaning roller. The combing unit and protrusions have a shape and configuration designed to facilitate debris removal from the cleaning roller with minimal impact on the operation of the cleaning apparatus. The cleaning apparatus may include a surface cleaning head of an upright vacuum cleaner or sweeper or a robotic vacuum cleaner.

    Abstract: A surface cleaning head with dual rotating agitators (e.g., a leading roller and a brush roll) may be used to facilitate capturing of debris in the air flow into a suction conduit on the underside of the surface cleaning head. The leading roller is generally positioned adjacent to and in advance of the opening of the suction conduit. The rotating brush roll may be located in the suction conduit with the leading roller located in front of and spaced from the brush roll, forming an inter-roller air passageway therebetween. The leading roller may provide a softer cleaning element than the brush roll and may also have an outside diameter that is less than the outside diameter of the brush roll. The surface cleaning head may also include debriding protrusions contacting the leading roller and/or a leading bumper that extends in front of the leading roller.

The forecasting and optimization system generates predictions of optimal set points and communicate the optimal set points to a site-level controller.     Abstract: A Doherty amplifier includes a peaking amplifier, a carrier amplifier, and a combining node electrically connected to the carrier amplifier and the peaking amplifier. The Doherty amplifier includes a harmonic control circuit coupled to the combining node. The harmonic control circuit includes an inductor and a capacitor and the inductor and capacitor are connected in series between the first current conducting terminal and a ground reference node. An inductance value of the inductor of the harmonic control circuit and a capacitance value of the capacitor of the harmonic control circuit are selected to terminate second order harmonic components of a fundamental frequency of a signal generated by the carrier amplifier.
