  • Patent number: 5631716
Abstract: A pair of goggles includes two shields each having an opening and a peripheral recess formed in the center portion for receiving a pair of rings and prescription lenses. The shields each includes a front peripheral flange and a rear peripheral flange for defining the peripheral recess. The rear peripheral flange includes a height greater than that of the front peripheral flange so as to prevent the prescription lens from moving beyond the peripheral flange. The side portions of the shields will not be occluded by the prescription lenses.

  • Patent number: 5631719
Abstract: A spectacle frame includes two side extensions each having a channel for rotatably receiving two rotary members. A pair of legs are secured to the outer rotary members. A resilient ring is engaged around the rotary members so as to couple the rotary members together. The extensions each includes a curved slot for receiving a rod of an outer rotary member. When the rod is moved along the curved slot against the ring, the ring may relatively bias the outer rotary member and the legs backward to working position so as to form a resilient coupling.

  • Patent number: 5583588
Abstract: A spectacle frame includes two extensions extended from the side portions. A pulley and a cam are rotatably supported on each of the extensions. A pair of legs are secured to the cams as to be rotated in concert with the cams. The pulley and the cam each includes a peripheral slot for engaging with a ring which couples the pulley and the cam together. The extensions each includes a stop and a curved slot. The cam includes a rod slidably engaged in the curved slot. The rod may be moved against the ring such that the ring may apply a resilient force against the leg.
