  • Patent number: 9378252
Abstract: A data interface efficiently transports, manages, and provides data transfer. The data transfer may happen between a data storage layer and a presentation layer, as examples. The presentation layers may be graphical user interfaces that display or report complex data sets, with the data storage layer providing the source data for the presentation layers. The data interface implements a data link layer that efficiently caches, stores, and locates query results, while simultaneously handling security. The data link layer may include load balancing, efficient cache refresh, and other features.

  • Patent number: 8306845
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for analyzing data sets representing consumer and shopper behavior. A data processing system for analyzing sales of a company's consumer packaged goods includes an interface for receiving master and shipment data from sources internal to a company and sources external to the company. Master data and shipment data are stored on a database. A merge and aggregation component operates on shipment and consumption data to create a unique repository of shopper and consumer data. A transcoding and integration component operates on external and internal master data to create a unified master data repository. A set of analytics and reports use unified master data and shipment/consumption data to support Consumer and Shopper Analysis. A sub set of secondary analysis can be performed, capitalizing the Master Data unification and sell-in and sell-out data integration.

  • Patent number: 7296980
Abstract: An intake valve for a high pressure pump for internal combustion engine fuel having a valve body having a seat with which cooperates a shutter kept closed by a first spring of substantially constant pressure and by a second spring varying in pressure during at least part of the stroke of the piston. The springs are helical compression types and their pressures are summed on the shutter, which has a plate and a stem. The first spring is located between the valve body and a flange integral with a sleeve fitted to the stem in an adjustable position. The second spring is located between the plate and the piston.

  • Publication number: 20050079082
Abstract: The valve (9) has a valve body (36) having a seat (42) with which cooperates a shutter (43) kept closed by a first spring (48) of substantially constant pressure, and by a second spring (49) varyuing in pressure during at least part of the stroke of the piston (7). The springs (48, 49) are helical compression types, and their pressures are summed on the shutter (43), which has a plate (44) and a stem (46). The first spring (48) is located between the valve body (36) and a flange (52) integral with a sleeve (53) which is fitted to the stem (46) in an adjustable position; and the second spring (49) is located between the plate (44) and the piston (7).

  • Publication number: 20020189436
Abstract: A fuel injection system in which only one pump element at a time can aspirate fuel. As a result, it is attained that even in partial-load operation, all the pump elements are in operation, and as a consequence the smooth operation of the engine in partial-load operation is improved.
