  • Patent number: 11164481
Abstract: A method and an electronic apparatus for displaying reference locations for locating ECG pads and a recording medium using the method are provided. In the method, a body image is retrieved and a skin area in accordance with a skin color in the body image is detected. A feature analysis is performed on the skin area to detect two physical nipples and obtain locations of the two physical nipples in the body image. The relative locations of a plurality of ECG pads to one or two nipples predefined by medical statistics are retrieved to compute reference locations of the ECG pads in the body image according to the locations of the two physical nipples. Finally, the body image is displayed on the display and the reference locations of the ECG pads in the displayed body image are indicated.

  • Patent number: 10307082
Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for herpes zoster diagnosis and a recording medium using the method. The method includes: displaying a body shape image that matches a body dermatome distribution for defining an affected part on the body shape image, determining an area ratio based on an area of at least one dermatome covered by the affected part, and determining whether the affected part concentrates on any one of a left side or a right side with respect to a center line of the body shape image and whether the area ratio is smaller than a predetermined ratio, so as to decide whether the defined affected part is herpes zoster.

  • Patent number: 10019883
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method, electronic device, and computer-readable storage medium for monitoring breathing activity. The method includes the following steps. A time series of incoming frames of a monitored subject is received and each incoming frame is spitted into multiple blocks, where each block of the time series of incoming frames with a same position forms a time series of incoming blocks. A motion vector of each block is computed and projected onto multiple non-parallel axes to be assigned a sign. The projected motion vectors of each time series of incoming blocks with respect to each axis are respectively merged into a corresponding 1D waveform and converted into a frequency domain, and an observe area is located accordingly. A breathing frequency of the monitored subject corresponding to the observe area is determined and whether or not the monitored subject is breathing abnormally is thereby determined.

  • Publication number: 20180055453
Abstract: A method of estimating a respiratory rate and an electronic apparatus are provided. The method includes following steps. A physiological signal is obtained. A wave signal associated with baseline drift is extracted from the physiological signal. A wave number of the wave signal is counted, and the respiratory rate is estimated according to the wave number.

  • Patent number: 9679510
Abstract: A display apparatus includes a pixel array, a data line and a data driver. The pixel array has adjacent first and second pixels disposed in different rows. The data line transmits first and second pixel voltages to be written into the first and second pixels respectively. The first and second pixel voltages are employed to illustrate a same frame. The data driver is utilized for generating the first and second pixel voltages furnished to the data line based on input image data. The data driver includes a voltage analysis unit and a voltage setting unit. The voltage analysis unit is used for calculating a voltage difference between the first and second pixel voltages, and for comparing the voltage difference with a preset value so as to generate a control signal. The voltage setting unit is utilized for setting the voltage of the data line according to the control signal.

  • Patent number: 8842104
Abstract: A bistable display and a method of driving a panel thereof are provided. The present invention would set the driving information lookup table (DLUT) and the corresponding reference information relating to each frame of the bistable display in advance, and look up the previous frame driving data and/or the current frame driving data of the panel according to the set reference information and thus obtaining information for driving each pixel of the panel. Accordingly, not only the memory space of the built-in DLUTs can be substantially reduced and thus saving the usage cost of memories, but also the time for download DLUTs from the external memory unit by the timing controller (T-con) can be reduced so as to promote the operation performance of the whole bistable display and thus further increasing the speed of the panel.
