  • Publication number: 20240110103
Abstract: Systems and methods for removing carbonaceous clinker material from a coke oven are described. A coke oven can be provided including an oven floor, coke, and clinker material deposited on the oven floor. After a temperature of the coke oven has reached a first temperature (e.g., after heating coal in the oven to produce coke), the method includes increasing the temperature of the coke oven to a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature for a predetermined amount of time. After the predetermined amount of time, the temperature is reduced to a third temperature that is lower than the first temperature.

  • Publication number: 20240092423
Abstract: A lightweight vehicle includes a pair of rear wheel assemblies, one or more front wheel assemblies, a universal assembly platform, and forward facing seating. The universal assembly platform includes a planar main vehicle chassis, a front suspension system connected to the planar main vehicle chassis and to which the one or more front wheel assemblies is mounted, and a rear suspension system connected to the planar main vehicle chassis and to which the pair of rear wheel assemblies is mounted. A front distal end of the one or more front wheel assemblies is longitudinally forward of a front end of the planar main vehicle chassis. The forward facing seating is mounted to the planar main vehicle chassis such that a portion of a seat bottom of the forward facing seating is located longitudinally rearward of an axis extending through a center of the pair of rear wheel assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20240083502
Abstract: A lightweight vehicle includes a first wheel assembly including a first wheel rotatable about an axis, a second wheel assembly including a second wheel rotatable about the axis, a platform including a chassis and a rear suspension assembly coupling the first wheel assembly and the second wheel assembly to the chassis, a first seat coupled to the chassis, and a second seat coupled to the chassis rearward of the first seat. At least a portion of the chassis has a planar shape. The second seat includes a bottom and a back. The back is positioned rearward of at least a portion of the bottom such that the second seat defines a forward-facing seating. At least a portion of the bottom of the second seat is positioned longitudinally rearward of a plane extending vertically upward from the axis about which the first wheel and the second wheel are rotatable.

  • Patent number: 4645909
Abstract: A toaster is mountable on a heat reflective overhead support which is adapted to be secured to a supporting surface such as the underside of a cabinet. The support is recessed from the front of the toaster so as to accomodate the lip of the cabinet. The toaster is provided with a shelf or grill which is movable between a first, heating position and a second, delivery position below and forward of the heating position. The grill is lockable in the heating position by a locking mechanism which comprises a releasable latch bar. An infrared (IR) sensor senses IR radiation produced by a food article supported on the grill. The IR sensor is part of an electrical circuit which controls the heater elements as well as an electromechanical element which releases the latch bar. When the latch bar is released, a spring assisted parallelogram linkage transfers the grill by gravity from the heating position to the delivery position.
