  • Patent number: 10578267
Abstract: A vehicle lamp is provided with a housing and a transparent lens connected to the housing to define a lamp chamber there between. A reflector is disposed in the lamp chamber for reflecting light through the lens. An electrical board is disposed in the lamp chamber and oriented in relative to the reflector. A light emitting diode (LED) is mounted to the electrical board for emitting light. A light shade is mounted to the electrical board at a mounting feature defined at a predetermined location relative to the LED to block light rays emitted by the LED. The shade is soldered to the electrical board at the predetermined orientation relative to the LED and the light shade does not contact the reflector.

  • Patent number: 9476556
Abstract: A reflector configured to receive and reflect illumination from an illumination device across a projector lens of a vehicle headlight assembly. The reflector includes a reflection surface, a curved edge adjacent to the reflection surface and defining a lower illumination aperture, and a wall member extending across the lower illumination aperture to define a gap portion between the wall member and the curved edge. The wall member is configured to reduce illumination reflected from the reflection surface by blocking an amount of illumination passing through the lower illumination aperture.

  • Publication number: 20120155501
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electrode, in which a solid metal material is extruded through a channel angular extrusion die to form the electrode. The solid metal material comprises copper and at least about 10 wt % zinc, and more particularly, between about 20 and about 40 wt % zinc. Prior to extrusion, the solid metal material may be formed by casting, hot forging, machining and/or hot isostatic pressure such that the solid metal material has dimensions corresponding to the CAE die. After extrusion, the solid metal material can be rolled and/or cut to a desired electrode shape.

  • Patent number: 7823674
Abstract: A motorized vehicle, such as a trike motorcycle, includes a frame having a front end connected to at least one front wheel and having a rear end, first and second spaced swing arm assemblies mounted at the rear end, first and second rear wheel assemblies supported by the first and second swing arm assemblies and defining a space therebetween, and at least one support extending from the frame into the space. The arrangement allows a modular structure such as a wheelchair to be connected to the at least one support.

  • Patent number: 7687112
Abstract: A process for producing an enhanced friction reducing surface by bonding a dry lubricant to a substrate by way of high velocity mechanical impact and low temperature diffusion bonding, and the friction-reduced surface produced thereby. A process for bonding the dry lubricant by peening and concurrently obtaining a desired dimpling or surface texturizing by appropriate selection of peening particle size and hardness relative to the substrate, as well as impact velocity against the substrate, is also provided.
