    Abstract: An electrical cable assembly has a housing with a sealing cavity. A plurality of electrically conductive terminals are terminated to a wire of a cable at a termination junction. Each terminal is positioned within the housing with the termination junctions positioned within the sealing cavity. A dielectric sealing insert having a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer is located within the sealing cavity to surround each termination junction. A method of assembling the electrical cable assembly is also provided.
