    Abstract: A locomotive locket device for disabling the forward/reverse control system of a locomotive or other powered railway vehicle has an axially-expandable plug portion which may be inserted into a keyhole chamber in a locomotive controller. The plug portion comprises upper and lower tubular truncated cylinders having complementary angled faces. When drawn together, the cylinders offset axially from one another, expanding their combined axial diameter. The device may be locked in a closed position.
