Such a mobile electronic device in some embodiments comprises a user interface, a wireless interface and a processor wherein in response to a login to a server having a contact list a device-selected default contact list display name is presented on the user interface and wherein prior to presenting the device-selected default contact list display name the device causes a previous default contact list display name associated with the contact list to be replaced with the device-selected default contact list display name.

    Abstract: A method and system provide automatic busy status notifications to parties to wireless packet services sessions in the event of temporary suspension of the sessions. In one aspect, a first wireless communication device comprises a wireless interface and a processor communicatively coupled with the wireless interface, wherein in response to a voice call received on the wireless interface the processor temporarily suspends a wireless packet services session between at least a first user on the first wireless communication device and a second user on a second wireless communication device and without user intervention transmits via the wireless interface a first message adapted to notify the second user of a temporarily busy status of the first user.
