Abstract: A method is provided for determining the propensity of candidate donors to donate to one or more charities. The method generally includes identifying, using a computing processing unit, transactions processed over at least one payment device network as being associated with a first candidate donor. The identified transactions are then parsed to extract ISO 8583 formatted data. By evaluating the extracted ISO 8583 formatted data, a propensity score is assigned to the first candidate donor where the propensity score represents the propensity of the first candidate donor to donate to a first predefined charity, with the propensity score being indicative of likelihood that the first candidate donor will donate to the first predefined charity.

Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle includes an evaporator and a diffuser. The evaporator is configured to cool air passing through the evaporator. The diffuser is configured to direct a first portion of the air entering the diffuser through a first section of the evaporator, and direct a second portion of the air entering the diffuser through a second section of the evaporator. The evaporator and the diffuser are configured to cooperate such that air exits the first section at a first temperature and air exits the second section at a second temperature less than the first temperature.

Abstract: A method for generation of an index of influence for an individual using social network and electronic transaction data includes: storing transaction messages, each related to a transaction including a time, date, and transaction data; receiving social media data associated with a user of a social network, the data including a number of followers and secondary followers of the user and data associated with shared content including a shared time, shared date, and a data value corresponding to a product or merchant; identifying transaction messages where the time and date are within a predetermined period of the shared time and date and where the transaction data corresponds to the data value; calculating a rate of return for the user based on the number of followers and secondary followers and the number of transaction messages in the subset; and identifying an influence index based on the calculated rate of return.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for optimizing a queue of queries for database efficiency is implemented by a controller computing device coupled to a memory device. The method includes receiving a plurality of database queries at the computing device from at least one host, evaluating the plurality of database queries to determine a resource impact associated with each database query of the plurality of database queries, prioritizing the plurality of database queries based upon a set of prioritization factors and the resource impact associated with each database query, and submitting the prioritized plurality of database queries to a database system for execution. The database system executes the plurality of database queries in order of priority.

Abstract: A method for selecting audience messages for an event based on audience analytics. A content management computing device determines a set of geographical regions viewing rights for an event were purchased, and in what quantity based on a first set of transaction data. The content management computing then receives a second set of transaction data associated with a set of consumers and generates one or more microsegment data sets based on the second set of transaction data. The microsegments are subdivided based on at least the set of geographical regions. The content management computing device then generates an audience profile based on the microsegment data sets. The content management computing device then receives a plurality of audience messages for the event, and selects one or more audience messages from the plurality of audience messages based on the audience profile.

Abstract: A computer-based method for reporting capacity for a merchant is provided. The method is implemented using a capacity monitoring (CM) computing device, and includes receiving merchant data for a merchant via a merchant computing device and payment transaction data for a transaction performed at the merchant via a point-of-sale (POS) computing device, wherein merchant data includes an average consumer count and a total occupancy count. The method also includes calculating a peak transaction count for the merchant for a predetermined time period and a current transaction count corresponding to a current transaction time included within the predetermined time period. The method also includes determining a capacity count for the predetermined time period based on the peak transaction count, the current transaction count, and average consumer count, and transmitting the capacity count to a consumer computing device, wherein the capacity count indicates a remaining consumer capacity for the merchant.

Abstract: A nutritional intake tracker computing device (“intake tracker”) is provided. The intake tracker is configured to receive user health data and at least one user health goal from a user computing device, and receive a request for an intake recommendation from the user computing device. The request includes a location identifier of a location of the user computing device. The intake tracker is configured to retrieve available intake options based on the location of the user computing device, wherein each of the available intake options includes corresponding nutritional information. The intake tracker is further configured to process the available intake options, the user health data, the at least one user health goal, and the corresponding nutritional information to generate a recommendation of at least one recommended intake option, and transmit the recommendation to the user computing device for display.

The MA computing device generates a transaction location identifier for each of online transaction to indicate a location associated with a user device operated by a cardholder associated with the online transaction and links the online transaction to one sector based on the transaction location identifier. The MA computing device generates aggregated merchant analytics for each sector based on the transaction data associated with the online transactions located in the sector and displays the aggregated merchant analytics on the user computing device for analysis.

Abstract: Devices, systems, kits and methods for increasing the skin's permeability controlled by measured skin electrical parameter are described herein. They may be used for transdermal drug delivery and/or analyte extraction or measurement. The controlled abrasion device contains (i) a hand piece, (ii) an abrasive tip, (iii) a feedback control mechanism, (iv) two or more electrodes, and (v) an electrical motor. The feedback control mechanism may be an internal feedback control mechanism or an external feedback control. The kit contains the controlled abrasion-device, one or more abrasive tips, optionally with a wetting fluid. The method for increasing the skin's permeability requires applying the controlled abrasion device to a portion of the skin's surface for a short period of time, until the desired level of permeability is reached. Then the abrasion device is removed, and a drug delivery composition or device or an analyte sensor is applied to the treated site.

The method includes defining a plurality of sectors of a geographic region and receiving transaction data for financial transactions occurring within a period of time, the transaction data associated with a plurality of merchants. The plurality of merchants are located in the geographic region. The method also includes identifying, for each merchant, one sector of the plurality of sectors in which the merchant is located. The method also includes mapping the LOI to a physical location based at least in part on the mobile device data, and determining valuation data for the LOI based on the physical location. The valuation data includes a real estate rating for the LOI. The method further includes generating a location response message that includes at least the valuation data and the physical location of the LOI, and transmitting the location response message to the mobile device.

Abstract: An open architecture HVAC module is disclosed having a housing defining an air inlet and at least two adjacent air outlets. An evaporator and a heater unit are disposed within the housing. A cold air chamber is defined between the evaporator and heater unit, and a hot air chamber is defined downstream of the heater unit. A partition extends into the cold and hot air chambers from an interior surface of the housing between the two adjacent air outlets. The partition is spaced from the evaporator and heater unit. The partition cooperates with the housing to define a first mixing chamber in fluid communication with the first outlet and a second mixing chamber in fluid communication with the second outlet. A blend valve is disposed in each mixing chambers. The blend valves are configured to selectively direct air flow from the cold and hot air chambers to the air outlets.

Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and a method of controlling a HVAC system that is configured to provide a perceived comfortable ambient environment to an occupant seated in a vehicle cabin. The system includes a nozzle configured to direct an air stream from the HVAC system to the location of a thermally sensitive portion of the body of the occupant. The system also includes a controller configured to determine an air stream temperature and an air stream flow rate necessary to establish the desired heat supply rate for the sensitive portion and provide a comfortable thermal environment by thermally isolating the occupant from the ambient vehicle cabin temperature. The system may include a sensor to determine the location of the sensitive portion. The nozzle may include a thermoelectric device to heat or cool the air stream.
