  • Patent number: 11568335
Abstract: A system is provided for implementing, managing or running a communication or workflow management system having multiple role agents representing roles, person agents representing users and device agents representing devices. The system combines a plurality of the role agents and their associated person agents and device agents into at least one mission, links the role agents to the person agents with a policy chain, and links the person agents to the device agents with a policy chain within a mission. Selected communications may be linked to at least one of the missions with a policy chain, such as a policy chain that links selected communications to at least one of the role agents in a mission.

  • Patent number: 10477156
Abstract: A video analytics system includes a first database for storing searchable time-stamped transactional data indicative of activity within a monitored system, a second database for storing time-stamped video metadata, wherein the time-stamped video metadata comprises searchable attributes associated with a raw video data stream; and a rule-based correlation server for comparing the time-stamped transactional data with the time-stamped video metadata to identify correlation events indicating potential activity of interest. An output subsystem reports the correlation events from the correlation engine. The analytics system is useful for detecting fraud in ATM transactions by comparing the transactional data, for example, the presence of a transaction, with video metadata, for example, indicating whether a transaction occurs when a person is present, for how long the person is there.

  • Patent number: 10387847
Abstract: Supervisors, managers, enterprises, organizers, etc. must ensure appropriate staffing by employees and/or volunteers to achieve their goals for each event, activity etc. at each location. However, unplanned absent individuals impact this ability and can absorb significant time and effort to overcome by re-allocating existing present individuals or seeking replacements at short or even no notice. Accordingly, each individual addressing this seeks the ability to establish communications to individuals or group of individuals rapidly, with low complexity and management overhead, knowing that those identified meet their requirements without searching/reviewing personnel profiles etc. Further, such individuals seek the ability to dynamically view and address problems within their domain of responsibility irrespective of where they are in relation to the event etc. Such issues can be addressed through the methods and systems according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 10051421
Abstract: A method and/or system is disclosed allowing a user to quickly and easily obtain information on the location of another user or group of users. Such location information, may for example, be provided for quickly finding the whereabouts of friends, volunteers, employees, event attendees, etc. The system is comprised of a user application and a user connection server which utilizes push notification services. Accordingly, embodiments allow a user to ask, for example with a single button press/user selection, for the location of other users. In response to the request, the user can, for example with a single button press/user selection, choose to respond to the user. The requesting user then sees the location of the other user.

  • Patent number: 5423065
Abstract: A mobile wireless communications system, comprises a plurality of base stations with associated respective coverage zones, each base station being connected to a central host computer and being capable of establishing two-way communication with mobile units in its associated coverage zone and a switch having a plurality of line interfaces connected to the base station. The host computer can select one of the base stations in range of an active mobile unit to establish a call therewith, determine the line interface associated with the call, determine when a hand off from one base station to the next is to occur as the active mobile unit moves between coverage zones, send a hand off message to the switch identifying the current active line interface and the target line interface after hand off associated with the call, and initiate a hand off by sending a call originate message to the next base station instructing it to originate the call on the target line interface.
