Patent number: 7347588Abstract: A spotlight having a variable angle of radiation includes a light source and a converging lens. The converging lens is the front lens of the spotlight. The front lens is eccentrically arranged such that the principal optical axis of the front lens is not coincident with the principal optical axis of the spotlight. For example, the principal optical axis of the front lens is parallel to and spaced from the principal optical axis of the spotlight by a predetermined distance.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2005Date of Patent: March 25, 2008Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventor: Dedo Weigert

Patent number: 6575598Abstract: A spotlight has a curved reflector (1, 1′) and a lamp (2, 2′) arranged inside a cavity formed by the reflector (1, 1′). The lamp (2, 2′) and the reflector (1, 1′) are movable relative to one another in a direction of a main optical axis of the spotlight. A converging lens (5) is arranged in front of the reflector (1, 1′) in a direction of light emission. A dispersive lens (6) is arranged between the reflector (1, 1′) and the converging lens (5).Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2001Date of Patent: June 10, 2003Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventors: Dedo Weigert, Depu Chin

Patent number: 6499862Abstract: A spotlight has an adjustable angle of radiation with modification of the angle of radiation being achieved in a manner other than by shading a beam path with a screen or mask. The spotlight has an interior light source (4) and a first lens (2) that is structured as a front lens. The first lens (2) is an aspherical lens.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2000Date of Patent: December 31, 2002Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventors: Dedo Weigert, Depu Chin

Patent number: 5795057Abstract: An asymmetrical lamp has a main lens (2), a reflector (3) and at least one light source arranged between the reflector (3) and the main lens (2). In order to achieve a uniform illumination of all areas of an object, even when the lamp is not positioned on an axis extending 90.degree. to the object, the light source (1) and the reflector (3) are offset from an optical axis (6) of the main lens (2). The main axes (4, 5) of the light source (1) and the reflector (3) are, further, inclined to the optical axis (6) of the main lens (2). Preferably, the offset of the light source (1) and the reflector (3) relative to the optical axis (6) of the main lens (2), and the inclination of the main axes (4, 5) of the light source (1) and the reflector (3) to the optical axis (6) of the main lens (2), is adjustable so that the lamp can be optimally adjusted. In one embodiment an additional lens (7) is included between the light source and the main lens.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 1997Date of Patent: August 18, 1998Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventor: Dedo Weigert

Patent number: 5418694Abstract: A gate for a lamp which is particularly suited for illuminating rectangular objects comprises a holding element defining a light-passage opening which can be mounted on the lamp. Four gate wings are mounted on the holding element about the light-passage opening for defining a gate opening having substantially the approximate shape of an even-leg, or isosceles, trapezoid.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1994Date of Patent: May 23, 1995Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventor: Dedo A. Patent number: 5313380Abstract: A lighting assembly has a grid (5) arranged to be adjustable at a light outlet of a housing (1). In one embodiment, there is a plurality of grids (4, 5, 6), preferably arranged one behind the other in a direction of light rays, which are movable relative to one another. When the position of a grid (5) of such a lamp assembly is adjusted, a light emission angle of the lighting assembly is adjusted. When, in a preferred embodiment, slats of the grids are arranged in true alignment to one another, a light emission angle is relatively small. By adjusting the grids, for example by one half step adjustments relative to one another, the light emissions angle is enlarged accordingly. Thus, a directional effect can be achieved without a focussing effect, even with the use of fluorescent tubes.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 1993Date of Patent: May 17, 1994Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventor: Dedo A. Patent number: 5088812Abstract: A high-frequency movie camera has a sprocket wheel for supporting and transporting of a film. A rotating prism is positioned opposite to the perimeter of the sprocket wheel and is driven by the combination of a gear located on the sprocket wheel shaft and a pinion intermeshing with the gear and attached to the rotating prism shaft. In order to avoid moves caused by the necessary clearance between the gear and pinion, an electromagnetic brake is positioned on the rotating prism shaft, which is automatically controlled to limit the prism rotational speed.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 1991Date of Patent: February 18, 1992Assignee: Dedo Weigert Film GmbHInventor: Dedo Weigert
