  • Patent number: 10823305
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to actuators. Various embodiments may include a laminated magnet armature for an electromagnetic actuating device, an injection valve for metering a fluid, and/or an electromagnetic actuating device having a laminated magnet armature. For example, a laminated magnet armature for an electromagnetic actuating device wherein the magnet armature is displaceable along an axis A in a movement direction may include a multiplicity of interconnected laminations oriented perpendicular to the axis A and stacked to form a lamination stack with a bottom side and a top side. Each lamination includes at least one recess open toward an edge of the lamination. The laminations are arranged within the lamination stack so the recesses form at least one duct extending through the lamination stack from the bottom side to the top side.

  • Patent number: 10711749
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a fuel injection valve that includes a valve needle, a closing spring applying a spring force to the valve needle, which spring force loads the valve needle in the direction of a closing position, and an actuator assembly. A coil of the actuator assembly produces a magnetic force on a magnet armature of the actuator assembly such that, as the magnet armature travels toward a pole piece of the actuator assembly, the magnet armature covers an idle stroke to a stop element of the valve needle and then carries the valve needle toward the pole piece. A spring constant of the closing spring and the magnetic force are matched such that the magnitude of the resultant force of the spring force and the magnetic force decreases with increasing distance of the valve needle from the closing position and remains the same with increasing the distance.

  • Publication number: 20180149128
Abstract: A method for producing a nozzle body for a fluid injection valve includes supplying a nozzle body blank having a nozzle body tip and introducing a nozzle body recess into the nozzle body blank, starting from a first axial end, and thereby forming a wall. The method furthermore includes supplying geometry data of at least one injection hole to be provided, with an inner opening and an outer opening, and determining a height of a blind hole step of a blind hole to be formed, in a manner dependent on a predefined fluid penetration. The method furthermore includes adapting a part of the shape of an inner surface of the wall and thereby forming the blind hole with the blind hole step of the determined height and introducing the at least one injection hole with the supplied geometry data, so that the at least one injection hole penetrates the wall.

  • Publication number: 20060000924
Abstract: A pump-nozzle unit for feeding fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, the pump-nozzle unit comprises: a fuel injection nozzle, which has a nozzle needle which can move in reciprocating fashion between a closed position and an open position, a spring, which exerts a closure force, the level of which depends on a prestressing force exerted on the spring, on the nozzle needle, and a first pressure space, to which a first pressure can be applied, with an opening force being exerted on the nozzle needle by the first pressure. The method comprises the following steps, which are carried out simultaneously: applying a first pressure to the first pressure space, and varying the prestressing force exerted on the spring until a selected prestressing force, at which the nozzle needle moves into the open or closed position at the desired level of the first pressure, is reached.
