  • Patent number: 11928888
Abstract: An image acquisition device includes a single sensor having organic photodetectors, an angular filter, and a color filter. The color filter has one or a plurality of first portions adapted to give way to at least one wavelength in the visible range, and one or a plurality of second portions filtering wavelengths outside of red and/or near infrared. The second portion has a surface area approximately equal to a surface area of one of the photodetectors or a surface area greater than or equal to the surface area of four of the photodetectors.

  • Publication number: 20240045125
Abstract: An angular filter for an image acquisition device including a stack includes: a layer with mediums having different refraction indexes and transparent to the radiation, the layer only letting through rays of the radiation having incidences smaller than a first maximum incidence; and an array of openings delimited by walls opaque to a visible and/or infrared radiation and an array of microlenses. The assembly formed by the array of openings and the array of microlenses only lets through rays having incidences smaller than a second maximum incidence smaller than the first maximum incidence.

  • Publication number: 20240013569
Abstract: An image acquisition system includes a single organic image sensor, a waveguide layer covering the image sensor, and an image processing unit adapted to extract information relative to fingerprints and to veins of a hand imaged by the sensor. The waveguide layer is illuminated in a plane by a first source adapted to emit a first radiation having at least one wavelength in a range from 400 nm to 600 nm, and a second source adapted to emit a second radiation having its wavelength(s) in a range from 600 nm to 1,100 nm.

  • Publication number: 20230298134
Abstract: A system for acquiring images of an object includes a stack of layers having a total thickness smaller than 600 ?m. The stack of layers includes an image sensor, a source of a radiation (RF), and an angular filter that covers the image sensor and is interposed between the source and the image sensor. The image sensor has an array of photodetectors. The source of the radiation (RF) has a thickness smaller than 400 ?m and includes first and second opposite surfaces. The second surface faces a side of the image sensor. A surface density of an energy flux emitted by the source through the first surface is greater than 100 ?W/cm2. The ratio of the surface density of the energy flux emitted by the source through the second surface and the first surface is smaller than 0.4. A transmittance of the source to a portion of the radiation is greater than 15%.

  • Patent number: 10965017
Abstract: A radome may include a core and an outer dielectric constant (ODC) adaptation component overlying an outer surface of the core. The radome may have an effective dielectric constant variation profile from an outer surface of the ODC adaptation component, through the ODC adaptation component to an outer surface of the core. The effective dielectric constant variation profile of the ODC adaptation component may be a continuous monotonic function DC(ot), where DC(ot) is the dielectric constant of the ODC adaptation component at the value ot, where ot is a ratio OTL/OTT, OTL is a location within the ODC variation component measured from the outer surface of the ODC variation component, and OTT is the total thickness of the ODC adaptation.

  • Publication number: 20200277214
Abstract: A transparent substrate includes a texture in relief on at least one of its two main faces, such that when the substrate is textured on a single face, the average slope Pm in degrees of this textured face is lower than 2°, and when the substrate is textured on both its faces, the sum of the two average slopes (Pm1, Pm2) of the respective faces is lower than 3°.
