  • Patent number: 8354265
Abstract: The present invention concerns the field of bacterial biocontrol. More precisely, the invention relates to the identification of chemicals which promote the growth of bacteria inactivating NAHL, such as gamma-caprolactone (GCL) and 4-heptanolide (HTN) and their use in soil additives.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 18, 2008
Date of Patent: January 15, 2013
Assignees: Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Comite Economique Agricole Production des Plants du Nord (Comite Nord Pomme de Terre)
Inventors: Denis Faure, Amélie Cirou, Yves Dessaux
  • Publication number: 20120226059
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for the production of Very Long Chain Fatty Acids (VLCFA) by fermentation, comprising culturing a recombinant strain of a Yarrowia sp. comprising a heterologous gene coding for a hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydratase, under control of regulatory elements allowing expression of the said heterologous gene in the said Yarrowia sp. The invention also concerns the recombinant Yarrowia sp.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 30, 2010
    Publication date: September 6, 2012

  • Publication number: 20110189697
Abstract: The present disclosure is relative to a method for the production of Very-Long-Chain Fatty Acids (VLCFA) into a plant cell, including culturing a recombinant plant cell in an appropriate medium, wherein said plant cell is transformed with an heterologous gene encoding for an hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydratase. The disclosure is also relative to a method for producing vegetable oil including high levels of VLCFA.

  • Patent number: 6252394
Abstract: A sensor for detecting the angular position of a rotary drive shaft is disclosed which includes a stator, a rotor connected to the stator by a ball joint and including a moving target, and a drive shaft connected to the rotor. The moving target passes through a detection system and produces a signal as a function of its position. Variations in the sensor output signal due to misalignment of the rotor and the drive shaft are minimized by locating the moving target close to the axis of rotation of the ball joint.
