Publication number: 20230251840Abstract: A system includes an edge server for a secured deployment of a container in the edge server. The system also includes a secure element and a message broker that routes messages from containers, wherein a container is deployed in the edge server. The system further includes a secure element manager configured to negotiate with the deployed container to agree on an ephemeral key, by exchanging messages containing values derived from shared secrets. The secure element manager retrieves a secret identifier from the secured element and encrypts the secret identifier with the ephemeral key. The container retrieves the encrypted secret identifier from the secure element manager, decrypts the encrypted secret identifier with the ephemeral key, accesses the secured element using the decrypted secret identifier, and retrieves credentials generated by the secured element in order to connect with the message broker.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2023Publication date: August 10, 2023Applicant: Schneider Electric Industries SASInventors: Denis Morand, Michael Patri

Patent number: 11722551Abstract: A device for optimizing the scheduling of files to be sent to an application server at regular time intervals, the device configured to: retrieve a first set of files from a database for a time interval, the first set of files being stored in a priority queue and carrying information sent from sensors linked to industrial machines, apply the retrieved first set of files to a scheduling algorithm using a compression ratio and combined with a reinforcement learning in order to select a second set of files, compress the second set of files based on the compression ratio into a compressed file, wherein the size of the compressed file is below a size limit, and send the compressed file to the application server, wherein the compression ratio is updated based on the size of the second set of files and the size of the compressed file, and wherein the reinforcement learning uses the size of a previous compressed file from a previous time interval.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2021Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SASInventor: Denis Morand

Patent number: 10965930Abstract: A method of displaying an Augmented Reality, AR, Graphical User Interface, GUI, on a device. The method comprises detecting PoIs that are located off-screen based on visual data acquired by the camera and on information related to locations of PoIs. Then, for each detected off-screen PoI, a zone of a predetermined shape and centered on the Poi is determined, the zone being at least partly located on-screen. On-screen apexes corresponding to intersections of edges of the respective zones are determined and a continuous curve is determined based on the on-screen apexes. A GUI is displayed by superimposing the visual data and the continuous curve, wherein the operations are performed in real time during acquisition of the visual data.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: March 30, 2021Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SASInventors: Denis Morand, Patrick Perea

Patent number: 9805477Abstract: A method for managing the display on a screen of an electronic device of at least one item of information relating to an apparatus. The method includes providing an enriched image of the apparatus, including an image of the apparatus and interest points of the apparatus, choosing at least one interest point from among the plurality of interest points, for obtaining a set of chosen interest points, selecting information to be displayed, providing a set of diagrams of the apparatus available for the apparatus, optimizing, according to a predefined criterion, each diagram of the apparatus available by inserting into the diagram of the apparatus a preview of information to be displayed for obtaining an enriched schematic representation, and classifying the enriched schematic representations according to the predefined criterion.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2016Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Assignee: SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES SASInventors: Denis Morand, Tewfik Meftah
