Abstract: A folding table for a motor vehicle comprising a folded state and an unfolded state and comprising a plurality of segments each having an upper side, wherein in the unfolded state the upper sides of the segments jointly form a storage surface and extend between two outer lateral edges, which in the unfolded state include an angle greater than in the folded state. It is provided that in the folded state the segments lie one on top of the other such that at least the upper sides and/or the undersides of two segments face each other. In this way a stable folding table is provided, which is particularly compact in the folded state.
