Publication number: 20240111883Abstract: The disclosed technology teaches a method of identifying roles to coalesce. The disclosed role coalescence engine includes compiling roles from an enterprise database and associated role features respective to each role (such as members who belong to a particular role or access privileges assigned to a particular role), computing a similarity measure between pairs of roles with respect to a single role feature, and clustering role pairs based on the similarity measure. The method further includes generating a cluster visualization based on the clustered role pairs and causing display of the cluster visualization to a user with controls for selecting a particular cluster of the cluster visualization. Coalescence of role databases results in improved security for identity governance and administration tools by reducing unauthorized or inappropriate access.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: ForgeRock, Inc.Inventors: Dennis Karl Wilhelm HAAKE, Sanjay RALLAPALLY, Ivan HUGHES, Jr.

Patent number: 10324073Abstract: Monitoring systems and apparatuses and methods for using same are generally described. A gas monitoring system may include a base component and a module component. The module may be configured to be operably coupled to the base component through corresponding interface connectors. The system may be monitor for gases and generate alarms relating thereto, when the module is connected to the base. The base and/or module may have limited or no functionality when disconnected from the module and/or base. The module may include components that typically have an increased potential for upgrades, replacement, maintenance, or other modifications. The base may include components that typically have a lower rate of being upgraded, replaced, or requiring maintenance. In this manner, high maintenance components may be arranged in a module that has a smaller and more portable form factor as compared to the base and the system overall.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 2016Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Assignee: Industrial Scientific CorporationInventors: Timothy J. Publication number: 20110023349Abstract: A device to lift a motion decoy includes a main chamber; a piston that extends inside and outside of the main chamber; an end of the piston outside of the main chamber adapted to connect to the decoy; a gasket on the piston, inside the main chamber, that helps the pressure of the water urge the piston to rise so that the piston lifts and lowers the decoy, the gasket helping stabilize the piston relative to the main chamber when the piston has risen; a water pump that provides the main chamber with water under pressure so as to urge the piston to rise; and a contact switch on the piston that, upon lack of contact between the contact switch and the main chamber, allows the decoy to activate a motion. An inner piston may rise out of the piston to further lift the decoy.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2010Publication date: February 3, 2011Inventor: Dennis Hughes

Publication number: 20100230209Abstract: A quick connect/disconnect ladder assembly includes a mounting plate attached to a vehicle's tailgate of a truck bed, a pivot plate mounted thereto to which is attached a ladder on which to ascend to gain convenient access to the bed of the pickup truck. When the tailgate is opened, the ladder can be pivoted away from the vehicle bed to a substantially perpendicular position with respect to its original orientation against the tailgate of the truck. The ladder is then pivoted downwards such that the lower end of the rails or legs contact the ground surface. The ladder is further pivotable counterclockwise to its stowed position on the tailgate to disconnect the ladder and pivot plate from the mounting plate.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2010Publication date: September 16, 2010Inventors: Tim Hughes, Dennis Hughes

Publication number: 20050023818Abstract: A book-like article having a plurality of story panels that are removably attached to each other and that, upon removal, can be assembled to form a building-like structure. Each of the story panels is attached to another one of the plurality of story panels. At least one of the story panels includes normally visible textual information on a first surface and normally hidden graphical information on a second surface. Some of the story panels are removably attached to a book-like article and configured to be assembled to form a building-like structure consistent with the textual information.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2003Publication date: February 3, 2005Inventor: Dennis Hughes
