  • Patent number: 6607183
Abstract: A detachable jack assembly for attaching to a hitch, including a leg having a first member movably connected to a foot member; a crank assembly disposed on the first member and having a rotatable arm, the crank assembly operably connecting the first member to move the foot member relative to the first member when the arm is rotated; an attachment member disposed on the first member and having a pin hole formed therein; a pin configured to fit in the pin hole; and a lock-out assembly disposed on the attachment member, including a bar member biased to a first position and movable to a second position, wherein the rotation of the rotatable arm is limited by the bar member when the bar member is in the first position, and the rotatable arm moves freely when the bar member is in the second position, wherein, when the pin is disposed in the pin hole, and the bar member is in the second position, the pin maintains the bar member in the second position.

  • Patent number: 6094900
Abstract: A round baler is disclosed for forming crop material into cylindrical bales. The baler has a main frame, a pair of side walls, a crop pickup mounted on the main frame, and a tailgate pivotally connected to the main frame. The tailgate is operative between a closed position during which a bale is being formed in an expandable chamber, and an open position during which a formed bale is being discharged from the chamber. A sledge assembly, pivotally mounted on the main frame for movement between a bale starting position and a full bale position, has crop engaging transverse rolls for urging the crop material along a spiral path in the chamber for starting and forming a bale. An apron is supported along a continuous path on the main frame and tailgate by a plurality of rotatable guide members. The path has an inner course that cooperates with the sledge rolls on the sledge assembly to define the chamber.

  • Patent number: 5738380
Abstract: A fuel fill system for use on a tractor having a lower fuel tank provided with an upwardly projecting fuel fill neck and an upper tank connected to the lower tank for flow communication therewith is disclosed wherein a filler tube is sealed against the fuel fill neck to define the inlet opening for the introduction of fuel into the lower tank. The filler tube is provided with a distal elbow defining an outlet opening positioned below the upper tank to direct gaseous bubbles within the fuel away from the filler tube to collect in said fuel fill neck or in other remote parts of the upper and lower tanks. A vent hole is provided in the filler tube near the inlet opening to allow the fuel to rise within the fuel fill neck as the upper tank fills. An adapter is threaded onto the fuel fill neck to capture a flange formed on the filler tube at the inlet opening to seal the filler tube against the fuel fill neck. A detachable cap is threadably received on the adapter to close off the inlet opening.

  • Patent number: 4143776
Abstract: A transfer mechanism places one part in a fixture on a continuously rotating table and substantially simultaneously picks up another part from an adjacent fixture on the table. The transfer mechanism then places the picked-up part on one fixture of an intermittently rotatable table while substantially simultaneously picking up another part on the latter table preparatory to placing that part on the continuously rotating table. A turn over mechanism subsequently picks up the part placed on the intermittently rotatable table by the transfer mechanism, turns the part over, and replaces the part on the intermittently rotatable table preparatory to the part being picked up from the latter table and returned to the continuously rotating table by the transfer mechanism.
