Abstract: Multi-part mud flap adapters include a mounting bracket and a shaped cowling that integrates with and continues styling lines of the vehicles fenders, flares and trim to allow replaceable mud flaps to be secured to wheel wells, with the front face of the mud flap approximately tangent to the curve of the wheel well so that the mud flap does not reduce tire clearance.

Abstract: A method of installing a mud flap onto a vehicle having a fender which has a contour, so that the mud flap is in a predetermined position. A mud flap installation kit is used. This kit has a mud flap that defines a set of at least three apertures positioned along a curve that parallels the fender contour and a set of flat clips equal in number to the apertures, each flat clip having a bolt and a leaf, defining a leaf aperture. Each flat clip bolt is threaded through a mud flap aperture and a leaf aperture. Then the mud flap is aligned so that each of the apertures is a predetermined distance from the fender, thereby placing the mud flap in the predetermined position. Finally, the flat clips are used to clamp the mud flap to the fender.

Abstract: A knowledge discovery apparatus and method that extracts both specifically desired as well as pertinent and relevant information to query from a corpus of multiple elements that can be structured, unstructured, and/or semi-structured, along with imagery, video, speech, and other forms of data representation, to generate a set of outputs with a confidence metric applied to the match of the output against the query. The invented apparatus includes a multi-level architecture, along with one or more feedback loop(s) from any level n to any lower level n?1 so that a user can control the output of this knowledge discovery method via providing inputs to the utility function.

Abstract: An apparatus for separating individual circuit boards from a multiple board array with pre-scored planes 10 is provided. The apparatus includes a splitting element 36, positioned along one of the pre-scored planes 28, and a torque inducing element 38 mechanically forcing the multiple board array 20 onto the splitting element 36 thereby breaking the board array 20 along the pre-scored plane 28.
