  • Publication number: 20240095549
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for predictive analysis of transaction data using machine learning. A server computing device trains a plurality of machine learning models using historical transaction data for a set of entities as input to predict a likelihood of future transaction activity for each of the entities, each machine learning model trained on a different target transaction variable. The server computing device executes each of the plurality of machine learning models to generate, for each entity, a predicted likelihood value for a future transaction associated with the entity and each of the target transaction variables. The server computing device transmits the predicted likelihood values for each entity to a remote computing device for display.

  • Publication number: 20230392520
Abstract: A method is provided for disassembling a gas turbine engine. The gas turbine engine includes a compressor section, a combustor section, a turbine section, a static structure and a bypass duct. The static structure houses and supports the compressor section, the combustor section and the turbine section. The static structure includes a turbine support structure. The bypass duct includes an inner duct wall, an outer duct wall and a bypass flowpath formed radially between the inner duct wall and the outer duct wall. The outer duct wall extends axially along the static structure and overlaps the turbine support structure. During the method, the turbine support structure is removed from the gas turbine engine while the outer duct wall remains installed.

  • Publication number: 20230304419
Abstract: An aircraft engine repair tool for installing and/or removing a mid turbine frame from a gas turbine engine is provided. The tool includes a stabilizer configured to support a shaft via a load path different from a load path provided by the mid turbine frame rotatably supporting the shaft about a rotation axis. The tool includes a holder attachable to the mid turbine frame, and a guide movably engageable with the shaft and attachable to the holder. The guide guides movement of the holder and of the mid turbine frame relative to the shaft along the rotation axis, and prevents movement of the holder and the mid turbine frame relative to the shaft transverse to the rotation axis when the mid turbine frame is released from the support structure and attached to the holder, and when the holder is attached to the guide.

  • Patent number: 7275068
Abstract: Acquired data about communication interactions is used to form constructs which are indicative of an entity and communities-of-practice within the entity. A construction may be derived from the addressing data associated with the interactions to depict a communication network construct of the organization over time. The construction is selectively decomposed to smaller communications networks indicative of said communities-of-practice.

  • Patent number: 6632162
Abstract: A method for making recessed tray liners for storing objects in a storage container is disclosed. The first step in the method is to size a structural thermoplastic foam liner to fit within a tray. The foam liner is preferably a foamed polyethylene plastic. After the tray is lined with the foam liner, the object or objects to be held in the tray are then heated to a temperature sufficient to soften the thermoplastic foam. The temperature of the heated object is selected to be above the softening temperature of the thermoplastic foam, but below the melting temperature of the foam. After the object or objects have reached the appropriate temperature, the heated object is pressed into the foam lining to form a cavity. The heated foam will flow such that the cavity will conform to the contours of the object being pressed into the foam. After the object is sufficiently pressed into the foam, it is rapidly cooled to a temperature below the softening temperature of the foam.
