Abstract: In an aspect, an edible pet chew includes a tubular component with alternating ridges and grooves on the surface formed from for example a composite material or a rawhide sheet material. In some embodiments, the tubular component may be in a corrugated-pipe shape or trachea chew shape. In some embodiments, the tubular component is formed from a curved or rolled corrugated sheet or a curved or rolled ribbed sheet. In another aspect, an edible pet chew includes a cylinder component with alternating ridges and grooves on the surface. In another aspect, an edible pet chew includes a curved corrugated-sheet chip or curved ribbed-sheet chip component with a cross-section shape of a(n) curve/arc with alternating ridges and grooves on the surface. And methods forming the same are provided.

Abstract: An edible pet chew includes an artificial dehydrated-pizzle component imitating traditional dehydrated-pizzle (or bully stick), which may include a tapered head part at an end. In some embodiments, the artificial dehydrated-pizzle component is formed by injection molding process and is formed from a composite material. In some embodiments, the composite material includes at least 20% plant ingredient in formula. In some embodiments, the artificial dehydrated-pizzle component has a groove running on the surface.

Abstract: An edible pet chew includes a first high-density material member (or high-density material portion) and a second cellular (low-density) material member (or portion). In one aspect of the present disclosure, an edible pet chew is provided including a high density tube member and a cellular (low-density) material member. In another aspect, an edible pet chew includes a high density sheet member and a cellular (low-density) material member. In another aspect, an edible pet chew includes a co-extruded plural-layered tube member being formed from a layer portion of high density tube material and a layer portion of cellular material. In yet another aspect, an edible pet chew includes a co-extruded “plural-layer-structured sheet” member being formed from a layer portion of high density sheet material and a layer portion of cellular material portion.
