  • Patent number: 5226723
Abstract: An improved light emitting diode display includes a printed circuit board, a reflector and one or more LED chips. The printed circuit board serves as a base to fix the LED chips and the reflector has an appropriate thickness, contains one or more bowl-like reflective surfaces each with a corresponding passing hole located at such position as close to the bowl-like reflective surface as possible. The bowl-like reflective surface are just big enough to hold one LED chip, with the LED electrode connecting wire extending out of the bowl-like reflective surface and passing through the passing hole to be fixed to the printed circuit board. The small size of the reflective surface permits increased convergency and intensity of the reflective light emitted by the LED chips.

  • Patent number: 5119174
Abstract: A light emitting diode display with PCB base, LED members affixed thereon by conductive epoxy, and bonding wire, wherein the PCB is punched with reflector dish on each LED die attach zone so as to reflect and concentrate the light emitted from the LED to increase the luminous intensity of the display, and near each die attach zone is formed a plating through hole to increase the heat-dispersing area of the LED and improve the stability of the forward voltage and wave length (color) of the LED and decrease the light output degradation of the LED to prolong the life of the display.

  • Patent number: 4439698
Abstract: A linear sliding motor device which includes a solenoid assembly, a sliding rail assembly, and a switching assembly (or a microswitch assembly). Whenever the solenoid is energized with A.C. or D.C. electrical current, the magnetic field generated will magnetize a ferro-magnetic piece located near the solenoid, and will attract said ferro-magnetic piece into the core of the solenoid. Three or more solenoids are connected in series, of which the hollow cores are filled with a rail arranged with ferro-magnetic pieces; then, the power supply of said solenoids is timely and alternately turned on or off by means of a switching means (or a micro-switch assembly). Now, every solenoid will attract the ferro-magnetic piece in the rail one by one in a relay-race manner; if the rail is fixed, the solenoid will move linearly, and vice versa. The linear movement may be arranged towards different direction through an appropriate switching method.
