  • Publication number: 20230422445
Abstract: Various aspects include devices, systems, and methods for cooling a heatsink of electronic equipment immersed in an immersion coolant tank with a coolant shroud. The coolant shroud includes side walls and a covering wall. The side walls mounted on a mounting surface within the immersion coolant tank and on which the heatsink is secured and at least one of the side walls includes a fluid port and a fluid aperture. The covering wall extends from and between the side walls, wherein the side walls and the covering wall together form a cooling chamber that receives the heatsink. Dielectric fluid inside the cooling chamber is in fluid communication with dielectric fluid outside the cooling chamber via the fluid aperture. The fluid port is in fluid communication with a dielectric fluid pump disposed outside the cooling chamber.

  • Publication number: 20230370434
Abstract: A data security system uses API connections to heterogeneous collaboration platforms to analyze elements of conversations to identify regulatory, security, and privacy risks and take corresponding actions to limit and remediate risks in real-time. In some embodiments, the data security system can use API event triggers to determine when an action is taken, apply a machine learning-based detections to identify relevant risks, and take a corresponding remedial action such as removing a user from a conversation.

  • Patent number: 9155351
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a ski boot system including an upper shell, lower shell, and an articulation system. The upper and lower shell function to enable a user to move their encased foot in various dimensions/orientations corresponding to anatomical supination, pronation, dorsiflexion, and plantarflexion. The articulation system selectively affects the articulation freedom between the upper and lower shells in locked and unlocked configurations. The articulation system includes a lower shell coupler and an upper shell coupler coupled to the lower and upper shells, respectively. The locked configuration of the articulation system includes engaging the upper and lower shell couplers to restrict freedom between the upper and lower shell. The lower shell coupler is coupled within a recess in the lower shell that substantially restricts movement to a single orientation corresponding to coronal rotation.

  • Publication number: 20150204969
Abstract: A method for determining location information for a target may include generating a cyclic transmit signal having a fixed frequency slope over a substantial portion of each cycle and an operational frequency that is selected to penetrate foliage, transmitting the cyclic transmit signal without up-conversion with at least one transmit antenna, down-converting two or more return signals received from corresponding return antennas with the cyclic transmit signal to provide a corresponding set of baseband signals, extracting magnitude and phase information for each return signal as a function of range from the plurality of baseband signals, and determining a location of a target from the magnitude and phase information. A corresponding apparatus, system, and computer readable medium are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 8914782
Abstract: Source code is generated that includes one or more iterator-based expressions such as declarative queries. The source code is translated into an intermediate language that classifies operators making up the iterator-based expressions into classes based on whether the operators are aggregating, element-wise, or sink operators. The intermediate language, including the identified classes, is processed using an automaton to replace the iterator-based expressions with one or more equivalent non-iterator-based expressions. Where an iterator-based expression is nested, the nested expression is processed using an equivalent number of nested automatons. The resulting optimized source code may be compiled and executed using fewer virtual function calls than the equivalent non-optimized source code.

  • Patent number: 8132344
Abstract: The invention generally relates to a selectable boot articulation and support system. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a boot system including an intercoupled upper and lower shell configured to encase a user's foot and lower leg. The boot system further includes an articulation system effecting the articulation between the upper and lower shell. The articulation system includes an instep member coupled and positioned with respect to the upper shell in a manner that facilitates selection between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The unlocked configuration provides increased articulation and decreased stiffness between the upper and lower shell with respect to the locked configuration. The instep member may include a releasable dorsal coupling between portions of the upper shell. The instep member may also include one or more moveable lateral couplings with the upper shell.

  • Patent number: 6895881
Abstract: A shape conforming surface covering useful for covering any type of surfaces, and comprising planks (1, 2) or sheet of a plastic or flexible material adapted to be interconnected aside of each other thereby forming an assembled surface covering of optional length and width, and which planks (1, 2) or sheet are of a material that can be brought to curved formations, and which at the upper surface of the covering is roughened, for instance sanded or filed so as to imitate any unique grain effect of wooden material. Preferably the planks (1, 2) or sheet are formed with connection means (4, 5) at the longitudinal edges thereof. The surface covering may be an assembled unit comprising planks (1, 2) and caulking elements (3) between each pair of planks.

  • Patent number: 4112979
Abstract: An end cap for closing an open end of a pipe. The end cap is formed with a sleeve of plastics material closed at a first end by a wall and having tongues formed integrally with the sleeve on the opposite or second end. These tongues fit in openings in a plastics clamping ring at the second end of the sleeve and engage with a side of the ring to prevent removal of the clamping ring. The clamping ring holds a sealing ring of rubber material around the inside of the sleeve for sealing engagement with the pipe fitted into the sleeve through the second end of the latter.

  • Patent number: 4104365
Abstract: A method of separating sulfuric acid from spent chlorine dioxide generator liquor. The method comprises simultaneously adding to the spent liquor, a water-soluble organic compound selected from the group consisting of alcohols and ketones, and water. The resulting solid is separated to leave an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. The method is of particular application in acid and salt cake recovery from the effluent of a chlorine dioxide generator operating at an acid normality of between 6 and 11.
