  • Patent number: 10300898
Abstract: A towed cart and implement having a brake assembly enabled for independent application of the cart brake assembly without application of the brakes of prime mover in a burst application of the brake assembly for a predetermined duration. A brake control system includes a display which indicates the capacity of the brake assembly for burst application based on a temperature of a brake assembly component. The temperature may be measured or estimated based on duration and timing of burst brake applications.

  • Patent number: 9549505
Abstract: In one example, a conveyance system comprises a conveyance mechanism and a linkage configured to movably couple the conveyance mechanism to a vehicle, wherein the conveyance mechanism is coupled to the linkage at a first connection mechanism and configured to pivot about a pivot point. The conveyance system comprises a vertical movement mechanism configured to move the first connection mechanism in a substantially vertical direction, and a tilt movement mechanism comprising a tilt actuator configured to pivot the conveyance mechanism about the pivot point. A second connection mechanism couples the tilt actuator to one of the conveyance mechanism or the linkage and allows a defined range of tilt movement of the conveyance mechanism that is independent of actuation of the tilt actuator.

  • Patent number: 6514303
Abstract: A rotary screen assembly rotatable about a rotational axis for filtering air entering an air inlet of a work machine, the screen assembly having an axially facing screen surface including an outer circumferential edge disposed around the rotational axis in radially spaced relation thereto, an elongate brush having bristles disposed along a longitudinal extent thereof in contact with the axially facing screen surface for brushing collected material and contaminants therefrom, the longitudinal extent or axis of the brush forming a chord of the outer circumferential edge spaced a distance from the rotational axis or being skewed relative to the rotational axis such that when the screen is rotated about the rotational axis in a predetermined direction a force is imparted to the collected material and contaminants by the bristles of the brush sufficient to move the collected material and contaminants radially outwardly past the circumferential edge.

  • Patent number: 6004382
Abstract: An air cleaning system for a vehicle includes an inertial separator for filtering contaminated air, which then enters a vehicle cooling system positioned to receive the filtered air exiting from the inertial separator, and a clean air diverter positioned to receive a portion of the filtered air and to direct the filtered air to an engine and/or cab. The system may also include a pulley arrangement to increase the speed of a second inertial separator which further filters the air directed to the engine and/or cab.
