Patent number: 9201429Abstract: The intention is to provide an actuator which makes it possible to change the opening time and to manually lock the supply of gas. For this purpose, the actuator consists of a housing (9) which is closed by a cover (10). A working diaphragm (8) is clamped between the housing (9) and the cover (10) and subdivides a space enclosed by the housing (9) and the cover (10) into a working pressure chamber (11) and an outlet pressure chamber (13). A lever (15) which is supported on the working diaphragm (8) and acts on a gas valve (2) via a drive plunger (16) is pivotably mounted in the housing (9). The actuator also has an adjustable pressure control valve (6) and a solenoid valve (7). When an inlet pressure line (12) is closed, the solenoid valve (7) opens a connecting channel (28) between the working pressure chamber (11) and the outlet pressure chamber (13). In contrast, in the open position, the inlet pressure line (12) is connected to the working pressure chamber (11) and to the pressure chamber (21).Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2011Date of Patent: December 1, 2015Assignee: MERTIK MAXITROL GMBH & CO. Patent number: 7527071Abstract: The aim is to devise a gas plug connector that permits a gas plug to be connected or disconnected only when an additional shut-off valve has been manually closed. To that end the housing (1) of the gas plug connector has a bearing (36) for a switching element (35) that on the one hand is fitted with a guide device (37), on which one end of a plunger (11; 12) installed in the base (2) of the housing (1) is supported, whereas the other end of the plunger (11: 12) is connected to a valve head (15) of a shut-off valve (8) positioned in the gas-carrying chamber (7) of the base (2). On the other hand, the switching element (35) is connected to a locking device, by means of which an insertion of the gas plug (57) dependent on the position of the switching element (35) can be prevented.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2005Date of Patent: May 5, 2009Assignee: Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. Patent number: 6796326Abstract: A gas pressure regulator shall be created that shows reproducible features even at minimum through flow values, and at the same time allows keeping its lock up characteristic. In addition, gas burners operated at a large modulating range shall allow ignition as well, with the internal pressure drop being kept as low as possible. Also, manufacturing expenses and number of gasproof connections shall be kept at a minimum. To achieve this, the inlet-side chamber and the outlet-side chamber are connected to each other—in addition to the existing passage that is used for pressure regulating purposes—by one or more separate openings with each of such opening forming a seat for a closing body that is individually assigned to said opening and guided in axial direction to its seat, whereat each such closing body is connected to the armature of an solenoid valve assigned to it.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2002Date of Patent: September 28, 2004Assignee: Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co., KGInventor: Detlef Bayer
