  • Patent number: 9109680
Abstract: A hydrostatic mechanical power split transmission includes a housing, at least one first power branch having at least one hydraulic pump and at least one hydraulic motor, and at least one drive shaft provided with gear wheel elements, which is disposed inside the housing and can be directly or indirectly driven by at least one drive engine, in particular an internal combustion engine as a further power branch, the drive shaft being able to selectively act either directly or indirectly on the sun gear of a planetary gear system by way of at least one clutch, to be decoupled from the planetary gear system, wherein the planetary gear system can be switched to a state of constrained motion by way of further clutches as a function of the respective operating state of the power split transmission.

  • Patent number: 8091662
Abstract: A hybrid drive for vehicles includes at least a main engine, especially an internal combustion engine, a generator, an electric engine, and a planetary transmission including a sun wheel, an internal-geared wheel, a planet carrier, and planet wheels. The planetary transmission also includes at least one output shaft. For a first driving mode of the vehicle, the drive shafts of the main engine and the electric engine are coupled to the sun wheel of the planetary transmission, for the addition of the torques, and, for another driving mode of one of the engines, one of the two engines can be coupled to the internal-geared wheel of the planetary transmission in a non-positive manner, for the mechanical addition of the rotational speeds according to the superposition principle.

  • Publication number: 20100275725
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydrostatic-mechanical torque-splitting transmission, comprising a housing, or a housing composed of individual housing parts, at least one drive shaft that is disposed inside the housing and can be driven by at least one driving motor, particularly an internal combustion engine, said drive shaft acting on at least two hydraulic pumps by way of gear elements in the manner of a pump transfer case and comprising at least one further gear wheel, which directly or indirectly acts on an output element of a power-shift transmission, wherein at least in the region of the gear wheel at least one coupling element is positioned, and wherein the power-shift transmission has at least one shaft that can be driven in the hydrostatic circuit, in the region of said shaft couplings, brakes, components of a single-stage planetary gear and similar components being provided, wherein the output element of the power-shift transmission is switched to at least one output shaft.

  • Patent number: 5709628
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission has at least one pump, first and second motors connected to and driven by the pump and having respective first and second motor shafts, and a planetary-gear drive. This drive has a sun gear connected permanently to the first motor shaft, planet gears in mesh with the sun gear, a planet carrier carrying the planet gears and forming an output, and a ring gear meshing with the planet gears. First gearing and a first clutch are connected between the motor shafts and a brake connected to the ring gear is actuatable to arrest same. A second clutch is connected between the second motor shaft and the ring gear. In a first range the first clutch is closed, the second clutch is opened, and the brake is actuated to drive the sun gear with both shafts with the ring gear stopped. In a second range the first clutch is opened, the second clutch is closed, and the brake is released to drive the sun gear with the one shaft and the ring gear with the other shaft.
