    Abstract: A walking cane having a multifunctional handle, where the handle, which outwardly appears to be a conventional handle, is comprised of articulating elements which can be rotated outwardly, therein transforming the handle into a tripod like structure. The cane then becomes self-standing when inverted. Magnets are used to hold the articulating elements in position in the unified form, and the proximity of these magnets may have some therapeutic value.
