  • Patent number: 11780385
Abstract: A device for securing a display to a vehicle grill is disclosed, where the device includes a display holder that can hold license plates. The device includes a holder frame having a first end, a first side panel, and a second side panel, where the first end is configured to hold a display. A first hook and second hook are configured to engage a first portion of a front grill of a vehicle. Levers are connected to sliders and a handle bar connects the first lever to the second lever. The hook of the first slider and the hook of the second slider are configured to engage a second portion of the front grill of the vehicle. Together, the lower hooks and upper hooks lock onto the vehicle grill to secure the device with four points of contact in multiple locations.

  • Publication number: 20220106073
Abstract: A collapsible storage unit with wheels comprises front, rear, left and right wall panels and, optionally, a bottom panel. The left and right wall panels are foldable inwardly to create a collapsed storage unit that is relatively flat. In another embodiment, the front and rear wall panels are foldable in a similar manner. The collapsible storage unit further comprises removable support beams, and in a disclosed embodiment, an optional removable support rod, extending between the front and rear wall panels. Wheels are affixed to the support beams such that the collapsible storage unit may be readily moved across multiple types of surfaces. A handle may be attached to or formed in a wall panel to provide easier grip and movement of the collapsible storage unit.

  • Patent number: 10207387
Abstract: A method for co-finishing surfaces bonds a first structure formed of a first material and having a first surface in an aperture defined in a second structure formed of a second material and having a second surface such that there is an offset between the first surface and the second surface. The first surface and the second surface are co-lapped to reduce the offset. The first surface and second surface are co-polished to further reduce the offset. The first surface and second surfaces may then be flush. Edges of the first surface may be chamfered to mitigate damage during co-lapping and/or co-polishing. Fill material may be positioned in gaps between the first and second structures to mitigate damage during co-lapping and/or co-polishing.

  • Patent number: 10206298
Abstract: Glass articles having a base layer formed of glass and having a first compressive stress, an adjacent compression layer formed in the glass and having a second compressive stress, and a witness layer formed in the glass adjacent the compression layer and having a third compressive stress. The first, second and third compressive stresses all differing from one another. The witness layer also having a higher index of refraction than an index of refraction for the base or compression layers. Methods for manufacturing and methods of quality control that include the use of the witness layer are also disclosed.
