  • Publication number: 20170215528
Abstract: A wearable device allows women to track their menstrual cycle by rotating or sliding a marker that will tell her every day where she is in her menstrual cycle. This device can be shaped in multiple ways. In general, the device has two or more interlocking pieces that allow the user to manually move, e.g., rotate or slide, a marker shaped on one of the pieces with respect to the other piece to highlight indicia, such as a number or icon or color, that represents a day in the menstrual cycle. The indicia can be hidden within the design to protect the user's privacy. In one implementation, the device is attached to a chain, rope or other form allowing it to be worn around the neck, typically under the clothes, like a pendant. Another implementation is shaped like a bracelet, allowing it to be work around the wrist. Other configurations to be worn on other parts of the body also are possible.

  • Patent number: 8734385
Abstract: A manual breast pump, including a housing; a funnel connected to the housing and forming a passage for breast milk; a cup for receiving a breast; a lid connected to an upper portion of the housing; a handle assembly connected to the lid; a substantially semi-circular finger grip connected to the housing; a piston movably connected to the handle assembly and reciprocally movable within the housing to create a negative pressure for the expression of breast milk from the breast; a flexible insert sealably secured to the cup and forming an isolated air volume between the cup and the flexible insert. A valve is removably connected to a lower portion of the housing; and a receptacle for receiving the breast milk, the receptacle being removably attached to a lower portion of the housing. The isolated air volume expands and contracts as the piston moves reciprocally within the housing, causing the flexible insert to move.

  • Publication number: 20120265244
Abstract: A pacifier assembly has a pacifier having a shield with a convex surface and a concave surface. The pacifier has a back portion extending from the convex surface; and a teat extending from the concave surface. The convex surface has a plurality of undulations and a plurality of apertures extending through the shield. The pacifier assembly further includes a case. A pacifier assembly provides for a pacifier having a shield with a convex surface and a concave surface, a back portion extending from the convex surface and a teat extending from the concave surface. The pacifier assembly further provides for a case having a base and a cover. The base includes at least two compartments. One of the at least two compartments includes chamber for receiving fluid and the other of the at least two compartments is sized to receive the pacifier.
