Abstract: An apparatus for capping the tip of the nozzle of a caulking tube retained in a caulking gun to prevent the caulking tube from leaking caulking material such as latex or silicone during non-use. The apparatus has a cap portion, a housing portion, and a retractable flexible cord to provide a retractable cap to be used with the caulking tube placed in a caulking gun to prevent leakage when the caulking gun and caulking tube are not in use. The housing contains a retraction member which is placed under force when the cap is pulled away from the retraction member and placed over the tip of the caulking tube nozzle. When the cap is removed from the caulking tube nozzle, the tension from the retraction member causes the flexible cord to pull the cap to a location adjacent the housing so that the cap can be easily retrieved and not lost.

Abstract: A caulking gun housing system, configured to retain a caulking gun, is disclosed. The caulking gun housing system includes a securing frame configured to retain an upper end of a caulking gun. The caulking gun housing system includes a retaining frame configured to retain a lower end of the caulking gun. The caulking gun housing system includes a holstering device configured to be secured to a user.

Abstract: An apparatus for retaining a caulking gun to more readily store and use the caulking gun as needed. The apparatus further providing a stable location attached to a user's belt for the caulking gun to be retained during non-use. The apparatus further providing a rigid platform that includes a cup for the nozzle of the caulking gun, a retaining ring to retain the nozzle portion of the caulking gun, a loop member for retaining the entire platform to a belt, and a ratchet retaining assembly to retain the ratchet portion of the caulking gun to the platform.

Abstract: An apparatus for retaining spatulas or putty knives during non-use by providing a spackle knife holster that removably retains the spatulas with a magnet positioned on an inner wall and preferably separated by one wall. The spackle knife holster further contains a plurality of pockets made of plastic to retain a plurality of spatulas. The apparatus further provides loops and a strap to affix the spackle knife holster to a user's belt loops at a desired angle.
