  • Patent number: 10020690
Abstract: The invention consists of a system allowing remote wireless transfer of energy from a base station to a moving object, in particular a drone, moving in a given zone around the base station. The system includes means for tracking the moving object so as to determine the position of the moving object relative to the base station at any time, means for transmitting a synthetic acoustic wave focused in the direction of the moving object, these two means being located at the base station and powered by the base station, and acoustic reception means, located on the moving object, for receiving the acoustic wave transmitted by the base station and converting the received acoustic wave into an electrical signal and then into a power supply voltage for a battery.

Date of Patent: July 10, 2018
    Assignee: AIRBUS SAS
    Inventors: Nicolas Colin, Didier Simonet
  • Patent number: 9766212
Abstract: An ultrasonic probe for contact measurement of an object and its manufacturing process. The ultrasonic probe has ultrasonic sensors securely fastened to a first face of a substrate. The opposite face of the substrate defines a measurement surface having a shape that is the imprint of the surface of the object to be measured to closely follow the latter when the surface of the object is brought into contact with the measurement surface.

  • Publication number: 20150268198
Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasound probe for contact measurement of an object and its manufacturing process. According to the invention, this ultrasound probe comprises ultrasound sensors securely fastened to a first face (12) of a substrate (10), the opposite face (11) of said substrate (10) defining a measurement surface, said measurement surface having a shape that is the imprint of the surface of the object to be measured so as to closely follow the latter when the surface of the object is brought into contact with said measurement surface.

  • Patent number: 8896329
Abstract: A device, a system and a method for detecting an irregularity in a structure of an aircraft are proposed. The device includes a resonant circuit with a resonance frequency and a probe for tuning the resonance frequency of the resonant circuit. The resonant circuit and the probe are operatively connected in such a way that the probe changes the resonance frequency of the resonant circuit if the structure changes due to a formation of an irregularity.
