  • Publication number: 20220411613
Abstract: The invention relates to a sulfur-crosslinkable rubber mixture and to a pneumatic vehicle tire comprising at least one rubber component made of the sulfur-vulcanized rubber mixture. The rubber mixture contains 10-60 phr (parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the total rubbers in the mixture) of at least one functionalized polybutadiene A, wherein the functionalized polybutadiene A is functionalized at one chain end with an organosilyl group containing amino groups and/or ammonium groups, and wherein the functionalized polybutadiene A is functionalized at the other chain end with an amino group, up to 90 phr of at least one further diene rubber and 30-350 phr of at least one filler.

  • Publication number: 20210246292
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire having an inner liner composed of a sulfur-crosslinked rubber mixture containing 80 to 100 phr (parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of all rubbers in the mixture) of at least one butyl rubber and/or halogenated butyl rubber, at least one filler, 1 to 60 phr of at least one coumarone-indene resin and 1 to 60 phr of at least one aliphatic hydrocarbon resin, wherein the total mass of coumarone-indene resin and aliphatic hydrocarbon resin does not exceed 65 phr.

  • Patent number: 9802446
Abstract: Self-sealing tire sealants are provided which contain fragments and/or residues of expanded solids, where the solids are selected from the group containing expandable graphite and microspheres. In some aspects, the microspheres include at least isobutane and/or isopentane as blowing agents. The microspheres may also have a shell containing at least one polymer, and in some cases the polymer is at least one copolymer of acrylonitrile and methyl acrylate. The self-sealing tire sealant may further include graphene structures. In some aspects the interior of a pneumatic vehicle tire has the self-sealing tire sealant disposed on the inner surface, opposite the tire tread, and the layer thickness of the tire sealant may be from 0.5 to 8 mm.

  • Publication number: 20030075255
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire of radial construction, especially for automobiles, is provided. The tire has a profiled tread strip, a belt structure of at least two belt plies, bead regions having bead cores, and a carcass having load-carrying members of steel cord. In the tire the carcass forms a C-ply construction and contains steel cords of three or five steel filaments, which all have the same diameter of 0.12 to 0.1 5mm.
