  • Patent number: 8171688
Abstract: A wooden building element for producing planar constructions, especially for constructing the upright walls of a building. Also, a corner building element adapted to the wooden building element and to a building constructed using the elements. The wooden building elements have two approximately rectangular support bases and two wall panels that are approximately equal in area. The support bases are maintained at a distance from each other by a plurality of supports that are aligned vertically in relation to the finished building and that delimit an interior compartment for the insertion of insulating material and building installations. The wall panels are fastened to the outer surfaces of the support bases and are set off therefrom in relation to longitudinal edges that are aligned approximately horizontally to the finished building and high edges that are aligned approximately vertically.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wooden building element for producing planar constructions, especially for constructing the upright walls of a building. The invention also relates to a corner building element adapted to the wooden building element and to a building constructed using said elements. The wooden building elements have two approximately rectangular support bases (1, 2) and two wall panels (3, 4) that are approximately equal in area. The support bases (1, 2) are maintained at a distance from each other by a plurality of supports (9) that are aligned vertically in relation to the finished building and that delimit an interior compartment for the insertion of insulating material and building installations. The wall panels (3, 4) are fastened to the outer surfaces of the support bases (1, 2) and are set off therefrom in relation to longitudinal edges that are aligned approximately horizontally to the finished building and high edges that are aligned approximately vertically.

  • Publication number: 20080026145
Abstract: An offset printing plate for sheet fed offset printing, the offset printing plate contains a metal substrate and a top layer having low thermal conductivity. The metal substrate is an aluminum substrate having a thickness between 0.05 and 2 mm. An intermediate layer having low thermal conductivity and formed of anodized aluminum is provided on top of the metal substrate in a thickness of between 1 and 25 ?m. A top layer formed of titanium and/or molybdenum, or an alloy thereof, is provided on the intermediate layer in a thickness of between 1 and 10 ?m, particularly between 1 and 10 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20070082215
Abstract: The invention relates to a double walled metal tube comprising a tubular roll formed metal band having a brazing layer between the metal layers of the tubular roll formed metal band, wherein the brazing layer consists of a copper alloy. According to the invention, the copper alloy is a copper-tin alloy, wherein the copper-tin alloy contains 3-12 wt % tin. The invention also relates to a metal band for forming such a double walled metal tube and to a metal strip for producing such metal bands, and to a method of coating a metal band and strip.

  • Patent number: 5553640
Abstract: A multi-layer metal tube consists of a flat steel band having a soldering layer connected to at least one side of the steel band. The soldering layer consists of a copper alloy having a melting point below 1020.degree.. The tube is produced by deforming the flat steel band into a tubular shape by winding or cylindrically rolling and by subsequently soldering the steel band to form the multi-layer metal tube. The soldering step prevents leaks as well as corrosion. In the corresponding method for manufacturing the multi-layer tubes the steel band in a first step is electrolytically degreased and activated in a nickel flash bath or in a copper pickling bath. Subsequently, the steel band is coated with the copper alloy which contains tin, zinc, or silver in order to reduce the melting point. After completion of the winding step or rolling step, the multi-layer tube can be coated with an additional corrosion-preventing layer.

  • Patent number: 4910096
Abstract: A cold-rolled steel strip having an electrodeposited nickel coating exhibiting a great diffusion depth, and a process for producing this strip. In order to develop a cold-rolled strip that can be produced economically, and which has a reduced tendency to stick, good deformability, deep coating diffusion, advantageous corrosion dehavior, and improved electrochemical behavior, and in order to develop a process for producing this strip, the thickness of the nickel coating should carry a coating of cobalt which has been electrodeposited to a thickness of 0.01 to 1.0 [m, and after having been coated, the cold-rolled strip should be subjected to a final heat treatment at a temperature of between 580.degree. and 710.degree.
