  • Patent number: 6481184
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the manufacture of bags and the fastening of same in groups on a hanger strip. The purpose is hereby attained according to the invention by the bag filled with the product being, after the formation of a first closing seam, subjected to a second method step such that after the advance of one bag length the second closing seam is formed, while at the same time a hanger strip is fastened on the first closing seam. Furthermore an apparatus for the manufacture of the bags and for grouping said bags on a hanger strip is described.

  • Patent number: 5715647
Abstract: In a device for the formation of the longitudinal seam of a tubular foil, a flexible foil is placed around a formatting tube by means of a formatting shoulder. The device has a transporting device for moving of the foil and the formed tubular foil. The invention provides two opposingly rotating sealing bands which are pressed against one another clamping the two longitudinal edges o the foil for welding of the longitudinal seam of the tubular foil. One of the sealing bands can be heated by means of a heating device. Both sealing bands can be heated and the device designed as a tubular bagging machine. The invention has the advantage that the deflection of the longitudinal seam from its true path is avoided.

  • Patent number: 5117612
Abstract: In order to avoid in a tubular bagging machine the disadvantages resulting from the state of the art through a cam-plate control of cross-welding jaws, it is suggested according to the invention, that the control of the movement of the cross-welding jaws occurs in dependency on the contact pressure, the temperature and the needed sealing time, with the drive being able to occur mechanically by means of a toggle-lever drive mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4628225
Abstract: An electrode for laser stimulation lamps comprising an electrode element (2) of tungsten, a hollow cylindrical carrier body (3) of nickel or nickel alloy, and a mounting pin (6) of nickel, tungsten alloy, or nickel alloy. The parts are securely attached together. This construction reduces the variety of sizes and types of electrodes produced, facilitates subsequent manufacturing steps and improves mechanical stability by reducing overall weight. The electrode element (2) and the mounting pin (6) are seated at respectively opposite ends of the hollow cylindrical carrier, extending, at least in part, into the space defined by the hollow carrier and attached thereto.
