  • Publication number: 20130011583
Abstract: A structural element includes sectors (12 to 15) of a material layer (11) that are foldably connected along hinge axes (16 to 18) and are foldable open and closed in a fan-like manner about a pivot center (19). A second material layer (21) is disposed on a subregion of a broad side (20) of the material layer (11), which has sectors (25 to 28) that are foldably connected to each other along hinge axes (22 to 24) and can be folded open and closed. The hinge axes (16 to 18) of the material layers, in the folded-open state of the structural element (10), each extend radially in the manner of rays with respect to the pivot center (19) and delineate the sectors (12 to 15 and 25 to 28) from each other. The sectors (25 to 28) of the second material layer adjoin each other within flat, curved or arched surface.

  • Patent number: 7997322
Abstract: A covering device for surfaces or for windows, doors, or similar openings or zones or for surface portions of the aforementioned items, has at least one covering element, which has movable element parts joined in zigzag fashion and capable of being fanned out and closed like a fan, which can be fanned out into an approximately two-dimensional shape of the covering element and closed to make a stack, and the at least one covering element has two peripheral parts, which either are independent or are formed by parts of the covering element and which in the fanned-out state extend at an angle to one another and which in a common zone are at least essentially brought together, and the element parts in the common zone are held together forming approximately a stacked block, and the stacked block is embodied as an independently freely movable part.

  • Publication number: 20080245487
Abstract: The invention relates to a covering device (10) for surfaces, windows, doors and similar openings (11) or for the areas or parts of said surfaces, comprising at least one covering element (16) consisting of movable element parts (17), which are connected in a zigzag manner, can be folded and unfolded in a fan-like manner, wherein said element parts are unfoldable in such a way that a substantially flat covering element (16) is formed and are foldable in such a way that a stack is formed. Said at least one covering element (16) comprises two edge parts, which are independent or formed by the parts of the covering element (16) in such a way that an angle is formed therebetween in the unfolded position. The element parts (17) are substantially brought together in a common area (21) just as edge parts. The element parts (17) are fastened together in the form of a bloc of layers (60) in said common area (21).

  • Patent number: 5189895
Abstract: A cylinder lock, especially suitable for motor vehicle doors, has a locking cylinder and a key, whereby the locking cylinder includes at least one cylinder housing with at least one blocking channel and one cylinder core with tumblers, each of which is movable about its own axis. At least one protruding cam or a recess is provided on the key or on the tumblers for transmitting the linear key motion in the key channel into a motion of each tumbler about its own axis.

  • Patent number: 4007467
Abstract: A light-sensitive element is connected to a capacitor to vary the charging rate of the capacitor in accordance with the light falling on the light-sensitive element. The emitter-collector circuit of a switching transistor is connected in series with the light-sensitive element. The base of the transistor is pulsed by an astable multivibrator which furnishes a pulse sequence having a pulse repetition rate which exceeds the reciprocal of the smallest exposure time. The pulses in the pulse sequence have a pulse width determined by the selected one of a plurality of resistors. The selector switch inserting the selected one of the resistors into the astable multivibrator circuit is coupled to selector means which select one of a plurality of exposure factors as for example the aperture size. The electronic switch is conductive, permitting charging of the capacitor only during the pulse duration. The charging rate of the capacitor can therefore be adapted to the particular aperture size, film sensitivity, etc.
