  • Publication number: 20030146806
Abstract: The invention relates to phase shifters, especially for millimeter wave applications, which are configured in form of a micromechanical switch and whose insulation layer thickness (d) is selected depending on the connected, desired phase shift &phgr;. The thickness (d) preferably selected according to the ration (I) or according to the ration (II). The invention also relates to arrangements consisting of several of these phase shifters which can be controlled simultaneously through a common signal line and a common coplanar line.

  • Patent number: 5880400
Abstract: In a metal housing of the "Flameproof Enclosure" ignition protection type, one part of the housing is provided at the parting plane with a rib and the other housing part is provided with a groove complementary thereto. The cross-sectional dimensions of the groove are larger than the cross-sectional dimensions of the rib. The gap-like space obtained thereby is filled with a coating which adheres integrally either to the rib or to the walls of the groove. This gives rise, between the coating and the other part to which it does not adhere integrally, to a gap which meets the requirement placed on an "ex-gap" of a flameproof housing.

  • Patent number: 5880401
Abstract: In a plastic housing of the "Flameproof Enclosure" ignition protection type, one part of the housing is provided at the parting plane with a rib (31) and the other housing part is provided with a groove complementary thereto. The cross-sectional dimensions of the groove are larger than the cross-sectional dimensions of the rib (31). The gap-like space obtained thereby is filled with a coating which adheres integrally either to the rib (31) or to the walls (14, 15) of the groove (13). This gives rise, between the coating and the other part to which it does not adhere integrally, to a gap which meets the requirement placed on an "ex-gap" of a flameproof housing.

  • Patent number: 4369330
Abstract: Housing for electrical components, component groups or integrated circuits, including a rectangular dish part with oppositely disposed side walls having recesses and a set-back portion formed therein, a cover part being inserted in the dish part and having an outwardly protruding rib disposed thereon forming a circular channel with the set-back portion, connecting parts having a right angle bend and being disposed in and fitted to the recesses for mechanically and electrically connecting an electrical component to a printed circuit outside the housing, and synthetic casting resin filling the channel for hermetically sealing the connecting parts to the dish and cover parts or the cover part has the recesses formed therein.
