    Abstract: A pocket filter includes a front frame which accommodates at least two filter bags. The top of each bag accommodates a reinforcing frame. The bags are secured dust-tight to one another, to the reinforcing frames, and to the front frame. The front frame is a severed at at least one point along its perimeter. The front frame has a U-shaped channel around it that opens inward, and the reinforcing frames can be inserted into the channel when the front frame is open at the severed point. The reinforcing frames match each other and match the size of the front frame, creating a dust-tight contact between all the adjacent reinforcing frames and the inner surface of the channel when the front frame is closed at the severed point. Facing webs, disposed in the channel opening on each side of the "U", create a dust-tight contact with the reinforcing frame.

    Abstract: The invention is directed to a guide bar which includes a fill body in the guide groove thereof. The fill body is disposed in the region of a lubricating bore and bridges the gap between the bottom of the groove and the rakers of the drive links of the saw chain. The fill body raises the bottom of the groove in the region where lubricant is supplied to the saw chain through the lubricating bore. The fill body has a recess formed at the location of the lubricating bore for receiving lubricant therein. With the invention, the take along of the lubricant by the rakers of the drive links of the saw chain is improved thereby reducing the quantity of lubricant which would otherwise be lost. A method and an apparatus for forming the fill body in the guide groove of the guide bar are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A guide bar for a saw chain of a motor-driven chain saw has a guide groove formed in the periphery thereof. The drive links of the saw chain have projections known as rakers which protrude beyond the side links of the saw chain and which are guided in the guide groove. The guide bar has at least one supply bore in a groove wall through which lubricating oil is supplied for lubricating the saw chain. In the vicinity of the supply bore, a lubricant surface extending approximately parallel to the groove bottom is provided. This lubricant surface extends to at least one supply surface extending as far as the supply bore. The rakers of the drive links move above the lubricant surface with a narrow spacing. The lubricating oil supplied via the supply bore is guided via the supply surface to the lubricant surface where it forms a film into which the rakers extend as the saw chain revolves.
