  • Patent number: 10532169
Abstract: The invention relates to a small, low-noise side channel compressor for producing a defined volumetric flow, such as is needed in particular for devices for ventilation therapy. This is achieved by means of a new type of shape of the blade chambers (24) in the impeller (12) and the blade chamber walls (29), which separate the blade chambers and become thicker toward the circumference of the impeller, supported by a high-speed drive and a large number of blade chambers (24) at a small impeller diameter.

  • Patent number: 10300192
Abstract: A device is described for supplying and metering a fluid for medical purposes, at least comprising one pump for pumping the fluid and at least one element through which the fluid is conveyed. At least one recess is provided in the at least one element, which is tightly covered by a sensor component composed of a pressure sensitive material, wherein a material of the at least one element is harder than that of the sensor component. The device also has a force sensor with which pressure-induced changes of the sensor component in a region of the at least one recess can be measured.

  • Patent number: 9937291
Abstract: A piston pump is described for pumping a fluid. The pump includes at least one cylinder having a piston movable inside the cylinder along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder by a drive, each cylinder having at an end face a mounting flange having at least one cylinder opening, and a chamber having a volume that changes when the associated piston is moved in the cylinder. The piston pump has an inlet port for supplying and an outlet port for draining the fluid. A rotatable valve plate is arranged on the other side of the mounting flange. The mounting flange has at least one passage in the region of the inlet port and the outlet port, respectively, through which the fluid can flow between the inlet port and/or the outlet port and the other side of the mounting flange. The valve plate has fluid-transporting means by which, upon rotation of the valve plate at least one cylinder opening can be connected to a passage of the inlet and/or the outlet port.

  • Patent number: 9427517
Abstract: A piston pump is described for pumping a fluid, comprising at least two cylinders each having a piston which is movable inside the associated cylinder along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder by means of a drive, wherein cylinders are attached to a common pump flange. In each cylinder a chamber is formed having a volume that changes when the associated piston is moved in the cylinder. The pump flange extends along the direction of motion of the pistons, and at least one inlet port and one outlet port are attached to the pump flange, whose longitudinal axes run along the pump flange. A central valve plate is attached to the side of the pump flange facing away from the cylinders that bear on the pump flange and continuously rotates transversely to the pump flange during pumping operation of the piston pump. Respective passages are introduced to the pump flange in the region of each inlet and outlet port, and cylinder openings are introduced to the pump flange in the region of each cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20090021812
Abstract: The invention relates devices for recording or reading out an encoded hologram. Said devices are arranged to record or to read out spatially separated data structures, as well as mutually spatially separated data holograms (36) and positioning holograms (37) associated with positioning structures that are structurally simple compared to the data structures. Said positioning holograms (37) can be analyzed separately from the data holograms (36) in order to align a modulation pattern in an iteration. The hologram can thus be correctly aligned relatively easily even in the event of complex data structures or modulation structures.

  • Publication number: 20060050373
Abstract: This invention relates to a probe for an optical near field microscope, said probe comprising a probe tip which is formed on a self-supporting carrier and to a method for producing the same. One object of this invention is to provide a probe for an optical near field microscope and a method of producing the same, whereby the probe has a probe tip with a very small aperture diameter and thus can be reproducibly manufactured in a simple, advantageously controllable method. This object is solved with regard to the probe by a generic probe which is characterised in that the probe tip is embodied as a complete structure which is applied to a planar surface of the carrier.
