  • Patent number: 9973190
Abstract: A capacitive proximity and/or contact switch includes a cover plate having an upper side and an underside. The upper side provides a sensitive area of the switch and the cover plate, at least in the region of the sensitive area, is at least partially non-conductive. A conductive sensor face is disposed at a distance from the underside of the cover plate. The dielectric system of this capacitive proximity and/or contact switch is formed of the cover plate, at least one non-conductive element facing towards the sensor face and at least one conductive element between the cover plate and the non-conductive element.

  • Patent number: 7059756
Abstract: Described is a display device (10) with a printed circuit board (12), with at least one light source (14) and with a single-segment or multi-segment display (16) which is connected by optical waveguides (46) to the light sources (14) which are preferably SMD-LEDs. The display device (10) has a block (18) for holding the optical waveguides (46) firmly in position, with a front surface associated with the single-segment or multi-segment display (16) and a base surface associated with the light sources (14). The optical waveguides (46) are in the form of light fingers (38, 42) which extend through the block (18). The printed circuit board (12) can include any angle of between 0 and ?90° with the multi-segment display (16).

  • Publication number: 20040230321
Abstract: An operating panel configuration for an electrical domestic appliance such as a washing machine or the like. The panel configuration has an operating panel and an associated control circuit with operating and/or control and/or switching and/or display elements. The operating panel is provided with a single opening for the control circuit and the control circuit is in the form of a functional unit with all operating and/or control and/or switching and/or display elements. A front side of the control circuit is adapted in respect of design to the front side of the operating panel. The control circuit is preferably in the form of a control module.
