  • Patent number: 11538321
Abstract: Provided is a parking space management system including a temperature sensor which can be attached to the floor of a parking lot and evaluation unit connected to the temperature sensor. The evaluation unit uses the temperature sensor to evaluate at least one temperature profile in the region of the temperature sensor and outputs a signal depending on the temperature profile.

  • Publication number: 20210293354
Abstract: Method for monitoring valves, in particular valves of a fire fighting system, comprising capturing first sensor signals at a valve in an intact state with a sensor, training the monitoring with the first sensor signals captured at the valve in the intact state, capturing second sensor signals at the valve in an unknown state with the sensor, comparing the trained first sensor signals with the second sensor signals and outputting a signal in case of a deviation of the second sensor signals from the first sensor signals above a limit value.

  • Patent number: 7032681
Abstract: With a device for extinguishing a fire, with extinguishing nozzles (10) arranged in areas of a structure, and of a building or a ship in particular, said extinguishing nozzles being connected in each case to a connection end (7a) of a supply line (7) filled with extinguishing fluid, said supply line connecting the extinguishing nozzles (10) to an extinguishing fluid supply device, which in the event of a fire imposes on the supply line (7) extinguishing fluid under pressure, simple and economical means allow for a reliable response, in that a bursting disk (33) is arranged in the area of the connection end (7a) of the supply line (7), which bursts at the attaining of a predetermined bursting pressure of the extinguishing fluid in the supply line (7), so that extinguishing fluid flows unimpeded into the extinguishing nozzle (10), and in which the supply line (7) in the position of rest is filled with extinguishing fluid at a pressure of rest which is lower than the bursting pressure.

  • Patent number: 6830109
Abstract: The invention is for a method for firefighting in which a directed jet of extinguisher foam is applied so as to cover the source of the fire, and to a device suitable for implementing this method. The method and device make it possible to extinguish fires which are spreading in area, while at the same time reducing the risk of uncontrolled spread of the fire. According to the invention, this is achieved in that as a supplement to the jet of extinguisher foam, the apparatus discharges individual jets of a mist of firefighting liquid which cools down the space surrounding the source of the fire.

  • Patent number: 6732808
Abstract: This invention relates to a fire extinguishing device, with at least one supply line (4) that is dry with the device in an idle state, through which at least one extinguishing nozzle (1) is connected with an extinguishing fluid supply unit, which fills the supply line (4) with an extinguishing fluid if a fire breaks out. The device according to the invention makes it possible to improve a device of the kind mentioned at the outset with simple means in such a way that the air contained in the supply line can rapidly escape while filling with a high operational safety. This is achieved by connecting the supply line (4) with a discharge channel (6), in which a bursting disk (11), which seals the discharge channel (6) in an idle state, and a valve (9), which closes at a pressure higher than the bursting pressure of the bursting disk (9), are situated one after the other in the discharge direction (F).
