Patent number: 11913426Abstract: A rotor blade for a wind turbine has a rotor blade root defining a reference plane for attachment to a hub. Adjacent to the rotor blade root is a profile region extending to the rotor blade tip. In the profile region, the rotor blade has a blade profile defining a chord. The chord angle between the reference plane and the chord increases over the entire profile region, from the rotor blade root towards the rotor blade tip.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2020Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: FLOWGEN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT AGInventor: Dirk Küster

Patent number: 11572860Abstract: A wind power plant includes a shrouded wind turbine having an annular shroud which defines a longitudinal axis and which is rotationally symmetrical thereto. A radially inner upper side of the shroud forms a flow channel for the wind, wherein a propeller which can rotate about the longitudinal axis and is intended for driving an electrical generator is rotatably mounted in the flow channel. A support, which defines a support longitudinal direction, has arranged thereon an annular shroud bearing element on which the shroud, and hence the wind turbine, can be mounted in different pivoting positions about a pivot axis, which extends transversely with respect to the support longitudinal direction.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2018Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: FLOWGEN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT AGInventor: Dirk Küster

Patent number: 11248581Abstract: An encased wind turbine has a casing, rotationally symmetrical in relation to the longitudinal axis and has the cross-section of an airfoil. The radially inner upper side delimits a flow channel. A guide element is rotationally symmetrical in relation to the longitudinal axis projects by part of its length, contrary to the direction of flow, over the casing. The propeller drives a generator, arranged in the housing, for generating electrical energy. The propeller viewed in the direction of flow, is located at least approximately at the guide-element trailing edge. Impinged on by the main flow of the wind, while a bypass flow, owing to the airfoil profile, generates a negative pressure downstream from the guide element and thus accelerates the main flow, is generated between the casing and the guide element. The propeller may be located downstream from the guide element and arranged to be adjustable in its longitudinal position.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2018Date of Patent: February 15, 2022Assignee: FLOWGEN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT AGInventor: Dirk Küster

Patent number: 7806062Abstract: A chain stitch or a double chain stitch sewing machine or sewing element of a sewing machine comprising three elements: a needle; a looper; and a spreader improved in such a way that a collision of any two of the elements during the sewing operations will not cause serious damage to the sewing machine and stop periods as a consequence thereof. It is provided that the sewing elements are formed such that at least one sewing element, in particular the spreader, will dodge or break at the predetermined breaking point due to its design and/or material properties.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2005Date of Patent: October 5, 2010Assignee: Nahmaschinenfabrik Emil Stutznacker GmbH & Co KGInventors: Hartmut Klapp, Dirk Küster, Klaus Stutznäcker

Publication number: 20080271658Abstract: This invention relates to a sewing machine, in particular a chain stitch or a double chain stitch sewing machine and preferably a multiple needle chain stitch or a multiple needle double chain stitch sewing machine employing three stitch forming sewing elements, namely a needle, a looper, and a spreader, with said spreader spreading a thread triangle of a looper thread in which the needle carrying a needle thread plunges for the connection of the needle thread to the looper thread, and with said sewing elements being driven through at least one driving means. The invention further relates to a sewing element for a sewing machine, in particular a chain stitch or a double chain stitch sewing machine, preferably a multiple needle chain stitch or a multiple needle double chain stitch sewing machine, said element consisting of a spreader that spreads a thread triangle of a looper thread in which a needle carrying a needle thread plunges for the connection of the needle thread to the looper thread.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2005Publication date: November 6, 2008Inventors: Hartmut Klapp, Dirk Kuster, Klaus Stutznacker
