    Abstract: A device is disclosed for connecting a first bus bar to a second bus bar. The device includes a pivoting device and an adapter bus bar. The pivoting device is connected to the adapter bus bar and is mounted to pivot about the adapter bus bar. The pivoting device can be fastened to a first busbar or to a housing of a first busbar, and the adapter busbar can be pivoted into a second position in which it can be electrically connected to a second busbar.
