  • Publication number: 20240102208
Abstract: Method for monitoring a textile machine having a plurality of workstations and a textile machine having a plurality of workstations, more particularly spinning positions, the textile machine having: a textile machine control unit, which is designed to capture different production figures of the individual workstations and to check whether the production figures exceed specified limit values; an input unit for inputting the limit values and selecting at least one production figure to be checked out of the set of production figures to be checked; and an indicating unit, which is connected to the textile machine control unit in order to optically output the result of the check of the at least one selected production figure to be checked for exceeding the allocated, specified limit value.

The indicating unit has a plurality of signal units, which are arranged on the textile machine control unit and/or the workstations in question, are associated with the individual workstations and are designed in such a way that the result of the check of the at least one selected production figure to be checked for exceeding the allocated, specified limit value is indicated by different light signals.

  • Publication number: 20230016597
Abstract: A method for arranging a fibre strand on a spinning device of a spinning station, wherein the spinning device is fed the fibre strand in order to produce a spun thread from the fibre strand by means of a drafting unit having a plurality of roller pairs. The roller pairs of the closed drafting unit are each operated, in a manner corresponding to the predefined drafting ratio of the fibre strand, with an introduction speed lower than the operating speed of the drafting unit, the fibre strand is subsequently introduced into the clamping region of an input roller pair of the drafting unit and the drafted fibre strand, after passing through the closed drafting unit and exiting a clamping region of an output roller part of the drafting unit, is subsequently fed to the spinning device.

  • Patent number: 11339506
Abstract: A service unit is provided as well as a method for controlling a service unit performing various service activities at one workstation on a textile machine having several workstations, in which case the service activities and movement orders to be carried out by the service unit are prioritized by a controller unit. In order to provide a method for controlling a service unit performing various service activities and movement orders as well as a service unit with a controller device for carrying out movement orders and service orders, which enable adjustment and maintenance work to be carried out quickly on the service unit, there is provision for avoidance maneuvers and parking orders to be carried out with the highest priority and manually set service activities and movement orders to be carried out with high priority.

  • Patent number: 7378813
Abstract: A system for determining a zero position of a yarn guide (25) of a textile winding device for cross-winding yarn into cheeses via a step motor (34). The yarn guide (25), acted upon by the step motor (34), is initially displaced in the direction of its zero position (NS) and positioned at a slow speed against a defined detent (15) downstream of the zero position (NS). Then, the step motor (34) is switched off, causing the rotor (41) of the step motor (34) to drop into one of two possible stop positions (RS1, RS2). Subsequently, the step motor (34) is switched on by an electrical current supply to its stator windings (20A, 20B) such that, when switched off, the rotor (41) of the step motor (34) is in the stop position (RS2) in which the yarn guide (25) is in its zero position (NS).
