  • Patent number: 8387141
Abstract: System for protecting a mobile device against malware or harmful communications via calls and SMSs. A security module for a personal mobile device protects the device (and the user) against malicious communication, unauthorized access to resources and user private data, and against other security threats. The security module includes a combination of some or all of the following features: control of third-party applications, validation of the SMS sender's number, protection against fake contact name of the SMS sender, collection of data about fraudulent and spam SMS messages, robust sending of SOS SMSs and SOS e-mails with geographic coordinates of the mobile device, verification of validity of the base station, deletion of user data from a mobile device remotely, locking of a phone until the password is entered and filtering calls and SMS messages.

  • Publication number: 20130010918
Abstract: A water-soluble salt of a metal with a high atomic weight is selected as an X-ray contrast substance providing a selective ion-exchange reaction with a component. The salt has a general formula R+M?, where R+ is selected from a group consisting of Ba2+; Sr2+; Tl+; Rb+ . . . , and M? is selected from a group consisting of Cln; NOn; OHn; CH3COO, SO4; . . . in accordance with a standard table of inorganic substances' water solubility. The X-ray contrast substance is injected into a sample of a porous material. Upon completion of the selective ion exchange reaction a non-contrast displacing agent is injected into the sample. The sample is scanned by computer X-ray microtomography and spatial distribution and concentration of the component in question is estimated by analysis of the obtained computer tomographic image of the sample.

  • Patent number: 6968500
Abstract: An automatic forms handling application service provided on a global computer network, such as the Internet. A forms publisher submits a form and an associated report to the forms handling system. The form includes one or more data submission fields for accumulating data entries submitted into the form by visitors to the forms handling system. The report includes report elements for returning tabulated data entries accumulated using the form. The forms handling system automatically creates a database table corresponding to the form, and correlates each form submission field with a database storage element, such as a column in the database table, that accumulate data entries for its associated form submission field. The forms handling system also coordinates the database table with the associated report file, and periodically generates and delivers reports to the a specified location in accordance a service definition provided by the form publisher.
